Hotel Demas City

Room is good, worth with all penny. Staff is really nice. Everything in the room is usable, no any damage. The area is nearly by tourist attraction and Munich HB. and you just need to walk by stay on the main road, So you will not feel any danger from the bar around there.Because they will be in the alleys

In the city center, on a noisy street with lots Arabic businesses and men’s clubs. The parking is 19eur/night and requires great driving abilities to use the elevators and ramp. The room is clean. There is a sliding glass door on the bathroom that lacks on privacy. AC and Breakfast not included.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Heating is by hot water, so will take some time. Bathroom is small, shower space is tight, may be a challenge for larger individuals. Commode seating requires flexibility. Highly appreciated the heated towel rack. Bed is comfortable but power sockets are on one side only. Coffee maker is massive and needs a PhD. Front desk is helpful and courteous. Breakfast coffee places located within short walk. 10 min walk to Haupt Bahnhoff along Shiller Str. but construction may cause some difficulties with roller bags and S-bahn exit to that street may be closed. Overall, it is a very good place to stay if you take Radius tours.

Our group was a bunch of 30-something year olds looking for a cheaper hotel option while still being close enough to downtown that we would enjoy our time and this hotel fit the bill. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was excellent (we came back and our key wasn't working, the receptionist was able to help us at almost 10:30 at night). The only downfall is the location. We loved opening our door to let the breeze in, however, we felt like we couldn't due to loud people outside. There is a restaurant/bar kind-of across the street that has people stay up til early in the morning (like 2-4am) which made us feel like we couldn't keep it open at night. The location in terms of transport and things to do was pretty good. It's about a 10-15min train ride into Marienplatz or 22min walking. The main train station is about 10-15min walk away which makes it easy for day trips. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It was a good price for what we got.

The hotel is situated about a 15-20 minute walk from Marienplatz, which is decent but not the most convenient. There aren’t many restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so be prepared to walk a bit for meals or snacks. The breakfast was decent for the price of the room—nothing extravagant, but good enough to start the day. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They allowed luggage storage on the first floor and even provided a lock to secure belongings, which was a nice touch. Rooms were a reasonable size and generally clean, though I did find some stray hairs on the bed. One thing to note is that there’s no air conditioning—just an electric fan—so it might get warm in the summer. Hotel Demas is a budget-friendly option in Munich. If you’re looking to save money and don’t mind the walk to the city center, it’s a fair choice. However, if you have a bigger budget, staying closer to Marienplatz would be more convenient.

Great option near the train station and the sights in the old city. Excellent price/value and fantastic breakfast options. Staff was friendly and allowed me to check in 3 hours earlier that normal Would definitely recommend for a short stay in Munch.

Good service from the staff at the lobby. Luggage storage was available, but not the most secure. Rooms were decent for the price, no AC though so keep that in mind for summer. Location isnt stellar and doesnt necessaryfeel Munich ish. It's in a middle eastern neighborhood with a good number of beggers, stip clubs, and gambling locations surrounding it. But not terrible for the price.

It is my first at Germany and we received a warm welcome from the front desk staff. We arrived early and they tried to accommodate us in checking in early. Unfortunately room wasn’t available but we really do appreciate them for offering us. Room was great for us, couple. Location is great. Walking distance to central train station.

I think the reviews here are outdated and people have not recently given this place a review. I've stayed here for one night so far and it's been a good experience. The staff were super friendly and spoke English when I checked in and they offered recommendations for restaurants. I also liked that this hotel is super close to the main train station. It's very close to the city center as well and hence why I chose this hotel specifically. The room is pretty basic but it's clean and the bed was comfortable and it was not very noisy at all. It's just a good place to rest honestly

Convenient location, but staff was unhelpful and one lady even refused to give us her name. We requested a pedestal fan for our room as it did not have A/C, and were not given one. Location was a little bit shady, but it was near the central Munich train station. Overall unsatisfied...

We did as much research to where we can stay and have easily access by walking to marienplatz. The convenience was important to us, as we wanted to do some local excursions too. The hotel location was great. It was convenient that the hotel had parking, but beware as it is a challenge for bigger cars to park, it is limited with space and its a test of how great of a driver you are. The concierge was helpful and friendly. We also loved our service during our buffet breakfast. The food for breakfast was absolutely perfect! Thank you so much, we enjoyed our stay there and we are definitely coming back!
