Hotel Derby

Firstly, great quiet location - just a few minutes from the Main Street in Interlaken. The team here are friendly and knowledgeable of the best activities to do in the area. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready but they were kind enough to store our luggage while we explored the area. Our room was on the main floor. We didn’t have much of a view, parking lot view but that’s okay as we were there just to sleep. The room was clean and quiet. Washroom was a bit small with the sink in the main room but it was fine for our 1 night stay. Good breakfast options in the morning but there are also some nice bakeries in the area, worth checking out. Would definitely recommend for those who want to stay in a quieter area in Interlaken.

Rare hotel in Switzerland with air conditioning. Great location, helpful excellent staff. Garden is beautiful and a great place to relax and have a cup of tea (super hot). Caution needed for the spiral staircase. Bus passes were great and convenient. Excellent breakfast.

Wonderful hotel! Just across from the train station. Everyone was very kind and informative. Breakfast was great! Coop was just up the street. Room was a nice size and bathroom also. Highly recommend!

Firstly i dont understand how does one categorise a bed and breakfast as a 3 star hotel? |while it was extremely clean , i think the price that i paid for the property was completely ridiculous for the size of the room and bathroom. There is no room service, there is no porter service. please dont book this if you are looking for a hotel atmosphere. staff is good but the overall experience was a disappointment. and felt cheated with a 3 star categorisation

I want to qualify my 5 star is based on the price you pay for the location it's in and what you get. I stayed in a room with two twin + 1 bunk bed (total 4). It had air-conditioning, two (small) TVs and a pretty good breakfast was included. It's also in a decent location, about 5 min from the nearest bus stop and 10min from Interlakken West. Many restaurants very close by. Staff was very friendly and helpful but they have this strange policy that reception is NOT available between 11:30am and 3pm (yes during the DAY). My room was very small, and the bathroom was even smaller. It sleeps 4 but you have very little space for your luggage or even moving around the room. Despite some of the negatives, I still recommend.

Stayed 4 nights and had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Derby. Amazing location, polite and helpful staff and overall a great atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Interlaken. Was Perfect! Will definitely be back!!

Lovely hotel well located in Interlaken. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. It conveniently has parking onsite (for an extra but reasonable cost). The complimentary breakfast had a good selection. Overall would stay again.

Staff are friendly. The hotel is clean. The room is just great for 2. I love it. We already do our research there's no lift & requested the lowest floor as my friend has knee & back pain. Breakfast is the same everyday, we hope that there's an option to book without breakfast. Location is a bit far from the west station so we have to walk slowly with our luggage. Other than that, this hotel is great. We would come again.
