I have had a great stay in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and very helpful which really made my stay. Breakfast was nice with a good choice of products. It is a small hotel but it was quiet, clean and comfortable. It's ideally located between the train station and the old town. My room was a bit outdated but it was spacious and comfortable enough. All in all I would stay again!

Lovely location! Room was a good size for our family of 5 and the staff were very nice. They gave a map with a detailed description of where to go and how without being asked. ||Some little points. The lift didn’t work at the time so it was tough on the 3rd floor to carry heavy suitcases but the reception did say it had been reported and it is getting fixed. The very little step to the bathroom stubbed all of our toes at some point as it’s too small to see but big enough to hit- but not really a big deal. The only thing I really would have liked is a kettle and cups for some coffee. ||Overall a lovely place and we would stay again. These are just things to be aware of. ||

This hotel is in a great spot in the city, the staff were very nice, and the room had good air conditioning (it was in the 90s). There are a few negatives. It is not very clean. The carpets were trashed, you have to walk your bags out to the first floor, then there is the tiniest little tube of an elevator that will only fit one person and one bag at a time to take you to the upper floors. And the bathroom was comically small. ||||But for the price location, and friendliness of the staff, it suited us just fine

Google
Pros: - very convenient location, next to the train station and close to the tourist spots - good service, smooth check in and check out, I was able to communicate in English as well - clean room Cons: - the room is on the basic side, no fridge and most of the items look dated, the AC keeps making noises. That said, everting functions properly Overall, I think it’s a good option for the price. If you don’t care about space / vibe and just want some place comfortable and easy with good value for your buck

Fantastic location, value for money and comfortable newly renovated rooms. But it was the service that made it excellent. Shannon and Laurie were especially helpful and accommodating and made our stay all the more special. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night in a triple room. ||Beds and bathroom are fine. Shower with thermostatic function; one hand shower and one rain shower.||The breakfast is ok, but no precut fresh fruit. ||Excellent location. ||Not luxurious but we were not looking for that.

I have not been this disappointed with a highly rated Tripadviser hotel in a while.||I’ll start with the positives. The staff seem friendly and helpful. But when we checked in we were not told about the WiFi and there is nothing in the room to help.|The breakfast is pretty good although they could do with some cut fresh fruit to accompany yoghurt. But for the price charged I think it was pretty decent.|The bathroom of our room was small but it appeared more newly renovated than the rest of the room.|The location is ok being a 5-10 minute walk from either the old town or lake.|You get a great discount on the car park nearby.||Now to the negatives - The entrance door to the hotel is really scruffy. Not a great start. Carpet on all the stairs was dirty. The common areas (except the breakfast room) all need some maintenance. The carpet was threadbare in several places in our room. |At check in we were told the lift is not working and will not be for a while as ‘everyone is on holiday’. Not good enough - We can manage with our luggage but many would struggle. The stairs are quite steep to be lugging up large suitcases. The lady did offer to help with luggage but who is going to ask her to drag a large case up 3 flights of stairs. If we had known there would be no lift we may have changed hotels. ||I booked a triple room for the two of us because I thought it would give us more space - it doesn’t. They just squeeze a single bed in. |There was one large towel for a triple room. We asked for another and eventually got one. Never had a hotel that doesn’t give a towel for each person in the room. Towels were thin, rough and tiny. |Our room was dark and dingy. Room 320. The picture on the website shows a room with nice decor, fancy pictures and ornate mirrors, throws and plants. Our room had none of that. It was basic looking in the extreme. They gave us THREE coat hangers. |The air con unit made a rumbling noise every few minutes that did not help sleep. We had to turn it off. Luckily it was not raging hot when we were there, although I would have liked to have it on.||We did not look forward to returning to the dark and unwelcoming room. Zero effort had been made. The view out the window was not great. ||Really disappointed and I don’t even think worth the lower price, compared to other Annecy hotels. I have no clue how it gets so many good reviews.

For a 2-star hotel, this place was wonderful for our family of 3. Great location, clean, friendly staff, cute rooms, modern bathrooms, and very cool tube elevator. Annecy is an awesome town so definitely recommend this quaint, cozy hotel when visiting.

Yelp
Two star hotel located close to Gare d'Annecy. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Also a bike friendly hotel with room to store in their basement. Lovely breakfast too. Fourth floor rooms have a sort of air conditioning. Lower level rooms have fans. Rooms are small but perfect for single travelers and groups of bikers ( as we were).

Yelp
Stayed here as part of a conference trip; hotel has no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags up or ask the staff for help (they will help you!). Rooms are small and there is no air conditioning but there is a fan in the room to help you cool down. Annecy isn't terribly hot but some nights were warm so the fan helps. Stayed in a standard double room (much smaller than expected) -- the only warning I have is that the shower is small: I kept smashing my elbows while using it. Breakfast is buffet-style, just your usual selections of hams and cheeses, fruits, yogurt, cereal, baguette/bread/etc. They also give you a croissant (very, very good) when you come down and tell them your room number. Since the hotel is very small (only 35 rooms or so), there is no dry cleaning service nor dinner service, so you will need to go out to grab a bite. The hotel is walking distance into the old town, so the location is great and it is right across from the main train station in Annecy. Staff are friendly and have a very good memory (I was surprised they always remembered my room number). Overall, a good stay.
