This hotel is a quick walk to the Cours Mirabeau and Place Richelme, etc. -- a wonderful location in the ancient part of town. We put the address in our GPS and tried to drive there, bu it's on a narrow medieval street and you just can't get there in your car. We finally called the hotel and were told to go directly to Parking Mignet and walk from there. The lobby is really cool (originally a 12th c. convent), the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms we had were nothing special, but comfortable and clean, no problems. Walk to all kinds of marchés and cafes, historic buildings and squares...

Nice hotel, very convenient location. small room but high ceilings made it more comfortable. Looks just like the pictures, old building with some quirks but OK. Much more than 3 nights might have been a problem. We'd recommend for a night or two in Aix en Provence.

We really liked the location of this hotel, just off the Cours Mirabeau and its magical fountains. Our room was functional, with good bed, excellent shower. Surprisingly, no tea or coffee-making stuff in the room - we would have had to select a higher-rate room. A little sad, in my view. Also, the breakfast was not included, and quite pricey for what was on offer. We opted to go out at the many surrounding cafés. But the service was excellent.

Although the lobby of the hotel is beautiful, as it was a chapel for a convent, the rooms are very disappointing. Rooms are dark and do not appear as in the pictures. The handheld shower is difficult to use in the design of the tub enclosure. Additionally, the tub is very high sided to get into and potentially dangerous to step into. Lastly, the lobby front desk did not have someone attending to the entry at all times which is a concern for security.

Really enjoyed out stay at Hotel de Augustins, very clean & comfortable, and the location is perfect. The staff were very helpful, and rooms were spacious with all required amenities. We did not try the breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Hotel de Augustins.

What a jewel of a hotel! AMAZING location, friendly and helpful staff and budget-friendly to boot. Book early to get the room with an amazing terrace overlooking the city. This is a converted church in a prime location for Aix-en-Provence to enjoy everything the city has to offer.

Very charming historical hotel. Only minus being our room was bit worn out and for some reason the lock of our room's door was super clumsy and difficult to operate. Had to ask help from cleaning lady and desk to get to our room.

Yelp
There are some pros and cons to staying here. Starting with the pros. The staff were helpful, especially since I only know some French and don't speak the language. The location is wonderful with food and drink close by. The lobby is beautiful, but that's where it ends. The rooms are small and are in need of an update. I could here people talking as though they were in my room, and could here the urinal being used in the room above. I could also here the chair moving around upstairs, so I guessing there is not insulation in the walls, or any attempt at sound proofing. They had set up an office just down the hall from my room which sounded like they were having a staff meeting around 11:00 pm. Someone else mentioned the pillows which were horrible, and the mini fridge did not keep anything cold. My travel companion got a room that did not even have a shower. It had a tub with a hand held shower head to rinse off. Can't say I've ever heard of that???

Yelp
The worse hotel on planet earth!
We had dirty sheets and changing the room we had dirty glasses with lip stick stains on! The room was extremely small and super old like wise as the building. The bed is from ancient ages! Probably about hundred years old and super uncomfortable so are the pillows. They were paper thin and super uncomfortable as well! Lastly I was forced to check out even though I haven't returned my key to proper check out after taking a quick walk through the city, i found my purse in the front desk! Et voila I lost and they lost my glasses case. I haven't had the chance to final look at my room. I will highly suggest anyone who is considering booking, not to and don't waste your money. My worst experience ever! The hotel doesn't even deserve one single star. So sad that the building was as beautiful as the city itself. Super disappointed!

Yelp
Super nice Hotel & Price is really good. I think prices are low for this? 99 - 200 a night approx and it is right in center of town - next to Columbus coffee. beautiful lobby and people are really nice and welcoming which is had to find in France?
