The hotel's not much, but it's conveniently located near the Métro and the neighborhood has a few great bakeries, restaurants, and grocery stores. I stayed with my boyfriend here for a week over the Christmas holiday and our room was on the second floor. Though the hotel had thin walls, it wasn't much of a problem for us at night. Wifi was reliable and speedy during our entire stay, which was great. The front-desk people were also helpful and polite. Our bathroom light didn't work when we arrived, but after we mentioned it to them, it was fixed the next day.
The only thing is that the front desk does have this strange practice of asking you to give them your key when you leave for the day and then giving it back to you when you return. I am not sure why this policy is in place, because they don't verify your identity when you ask for the key, so if it's for "security" I am unconvinced of the effectiveness.
Regardless, our rooms were clean and the bathrooms had strong showers. Though it was chilly in Paris, our room had adequate heating and the bedding was sufficient. It is a very basic, economic hotel, but it's great for being in a safe, pleasant Parisian neighborhood that has great access to the popular sights.
We did not eat breakfast at the hotel and I'm glad we didn't because the chocolate croissants and almond croissants at the bakery at the end of the street (turn left when exiting the hotel and walk about 3 blocks until you see a church) were PHENOMENAL.
When we checked out, they let us keep our suitcases in a storage space until we wanted to head to the airport, so that was a great convenience. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
