I have so much to say about this place. I don’t know where to start nor do I want to put a lot of effort into this because I’m so done with this hotel, but I’ll give you the gist. It’s extremely overpriced. It’s equivalent to $125 hotel. There’s not one luxury thing about it. There’s not one amenity about it. It’s a small boutique with a really cruddy lobby right in front of the check-in counter where there’s no privacy. They’ll hear every word you say if you sit there, but why would you want to because it’s literally a 8 foot by 8 foot area. At this insane price level at $400 a night there’s no coffee there’s no water there’s no music there’s no anything. They have a little dumpy Jim in the basement. That’s not even as good as the Holiday Inn express. Because there’s no restaurant they put a bag of little things to eat in the morning on your door, which taste like the same junkie food that I had down the block at an unfriendly coffee .Because there’s no restaurant they put a bag of little things to eat in the morning on your door, which taste like the same junkie food that I had down the block at a unfriendly coffee shop, reminding me of Tim Hortons coffee and pastries. I’m really bummed out about this hotel. It wasted a lot of money. It was not worth it and on top of it all you have no access to your own thermostat. It’s up to management discretion to cool or heat the room at its discretion. Yes, you heard that right you have no control over your thermostat other than a few hours a day in the middle of the day and in the mornings otherwise it’s all up to them. It’s a 15 minute walk up some serious hills to the Frontenac, which is basically a Taurus trap is nothing going on over there except for surrounding of overpriced touristy restaurants that are a complete rip off just like this hotel is in my opinion. They gave me parking passes to park across the street in a private lot but yet I got a ticket by a cop for $92 for parking there even though I had a parking pass from the hotel. Honestly, this place should be $100 on a Sunday night 125 on a weekend how they come up with this insane price of 400+ dollars a night is criminal and these hotels around here are absolutely insane. You are not getting what you’re paying for it is criminal what they are charging all around this area for nothing. There’s not a lot to do around here other than eat average food and look at gift shops that are basically T-shirts and sweatshirts that are Disney prices. It’s just a joke. I am not happy at all at this price range. I typically don’t spend this much money and yet here I did treating myself and I got robbed all around by paying for something that I didn’t get any value from an overpaid. My room was just average. There was nothing special about it. I would never stay here again nor would I actually come back to the area again because there’s really nothing to do but to walk around the front of the Frontenac on the outside because of the inside, there’s nothing there to do either. You have been warned
