My sister and I stayed in this fabulous little hotel for two nights in August. Sadly for too short a visit as I would have happily moved in!|On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. Our room with comfortable twin beds on the second floor was small but so well appointed that it didn’t matter and included tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and had all that we needed. I really appreciated the little welcome gift of jams, also the complimentary tea, coffee and cake in the lounge in the afternoon. Delicious!|Breakfast was beautifully individually prepared with a good choice of local produce - no faceless buffet here!|It was all lovely but most of all I have to commend the wonderful staff that make the hotel what it is. With warmth and professionalism and thank you especially to lovely Alexandra on reception, you made our too short stay a joy.|We will definitely be back.

Traveling solo, I booked the "mini", a small single room which was perfect for a single person. Many single rooms in Europe have a single/twin bed but this room had a double bed. I had requested a small kettle for making tea in my room and was happy that they did provide one. The shower was nicely hot. They provided chocolates and water in the room and tea and cookies in the lobby in the afternoon (much appreciated after sightseeing all day). Breakfast included made-to-order omelets. I was told the croissants were baked fresh that morning at a local bakery down the street from the hotel, unlike at other hotels where the croissants are premade by some large company, frozen and then baked on the spot. ||I had no issues with noise during the night or any time. ||I chose this hotel primarily for the location and for the availability of a small single room. I had tickets to St Chapelle and wanted to get into Notre Dame as well as see some other sights on the Left Bank and the location of this hotel was perfect.||I've stayed at 2 other hotels in Paris prior to this one and would rate this hotel as the best of the 3 hotels. It was charming, small, in a lovely location, and I felt the staff gave personal attention to their guests. I would stay here again or recommend it to others.

Lovely hotel in ideal location with friendly, efficient service. Staff make every effort to assure comfort and satisfaction. As is typical in Paris, our room was small but so be it in this quintessentially Paris neighborhood where restaurants, shopping and architectural delights abound. Staff kindly and willingly accepted our baggage on very early arrival and equally accepted it for storage late on our day of departure. Overall a good place to stay.

Great hotel. Great staff. Great location. A very pleasant small hotel vibe. Free coffee, tea, and cake provided every afternoon in cozy lobby for guests to compare experiences and recommendations. Receptionist/ concierge Alex was very friendly and helpful. They all were. The location on Île St. Louis is notably quiet and peaceful with great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend

Fabulous hotel located minutes from Notre Dame and an a beautiful street with a selection of restaurants and small shops. Rooms are not particularly big, but bed was very comfortable, shower hot and strong and spotlessly clean. The location is lovely just a short walk to the river. Staff are friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it and will return.

Another 5 star review! We had the good fortune of staying in this lovely hotel mid June. If you are thinking of staying in an AirBnB I would encourage you to enjoy the special touches that this lovely hotel has to offer. Super friendly people throughout the hotel led by the awesome manager Estelle. The location is outstanding... restaurants, cafes, shops outside your door in a completely quiet and peaceful location, central to everything! I travelled by LIME rental bikes throughout Paris and there was always one waiting outside the front door. The rooms are small but lovely, beds are super comfy, bathrooms roomy and the many interesting historical artifacts throughout make this hotel superb! A cup of tea and an afternoon snack in the hotel sitting room makes this lovely hotel wonderful!

I positively adore this hotel. I stayed here once before back in 2021, and brought a group of friends to stay here in June 2025. The rooms are very clean, and the AC was perfect during the heatwave. The staff could not be more kind or helpful, and the breakfast was great. Tea time in the afternoon is lovely. It's a relatively quiet location that is very close to a variety of excellent restaurants, shopping, and more. Only a 5-7 minute walk from a few different metro stations that can get you anywhere in Paris. Incredible value for the price in the middle of the city, with dreamy views of the Seine and Notre Dame right around the corner. I will absolutely stay here again and could not recommend it more.

This place is in the perfect location for a trip to Paris (5 min walk from Notre Dame with scenic bars and cafes nearby) and the hotel itself is absolutely superb. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and we loved the complimentary tea, coffee and cakes that are available in reception. The rooms are really lovely, the bed was SO comfortable and the bathroom was really great too (we loved the spray shower heads!). We will DEFINITELY be back next year!

Yelp
First, let's get any negatives out of the way: The rooms are small and the TV only gets a few channels. So what? Next, the good parts: When you travel to a new city, the location of your hotel makes a big difference. Hôtel des Deux-Iles is located on a pair of small, utterly charming islands in the middle of the Seine. Notre Dame cathedral is a five-minutes walk, and short bridges will take you to either the left or right bank of the river. Walk over to the Left Bank, and small side streets will take you to real Parisian shops and cafes, plus the wild Latin Quarter. On the Right Bank, it's a nice walk to the Louvre (which is a sight itself, even if you don't go inside). Take a look for yourself. Look up the hotel in Google maps and walk the streets with Street View. It's an amazing place. But the best part of the hotel was the staff -- always kind and helpful. My French was poor, but all of the front desk staff spoke excellent English. They helped us check in for our very late arrival, called for taxis, and even had champagne and glasses at 2:00 am. Five stars for them! We hope to visit Paris again, and when we do, the Hôtel des Deux-Iles will be our first choice.

Yelp
The Hotel des Deux-Iles is located on Ile St. Louis which is a great location to be, quiet at night and charming shops to visit during the day. Berthillon's, famous for its ice cream, is centered here. It is a smaller hotel, about 14 rooms, but is a charming hotel. The staff are fabulous and very responsive to all requests. We emailed them a number of times before we visited to arrange transportation from the train station to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. They serve some treats and drinks available nearly all day in the lobby. The rooms are on the smaller side, we did feel a little cramped because we are old LOL. But the bed was very comfortable. There is a little elevator that allowed us to avoid the stairs which again was nice,, And the receptionist helped us with our luggage. I cannot stress enough how helpful and sweet all the staff members are. The biggest treat for us was the breakfast they serve every morning. The owner tells us he has arranged to get nearly everything from local vendors. So they serve fresh hot croissants and baguettes (if you get there soon enough that they are still warm!) from a local bakery - they are to die for. And the jam is made especially for them from a local vendor. You can ask for eggs any style, fresh fruit, etc. etc. Not an extensive menu but certainly enough to please - all we needed were the croissants and baguettes! This is definitely an excellent choice for a hotel in Paris. It is located near Notre Dame and there is a metro line 5 minutes walk away. And other metro lines are easily accessible.

Yelp
This is a tough review to write and I wish I liked Hotel des Duex-Iles better than I do. On the positive side, the location of this hotel is amazing! Being on the island is the best place to be in Paris, there are no questions about that but I would not really recommend anyone to stay in this specific hotel. The rooms are small, dated, and very dark. The rooms are fairly clean but they are also super loud. The first night we had an American couple next to us that were just super loud and in these rooms, you can literally hear everything that is said in the next room, every closet opening, closing, water running, etc. The second night, we had a French couple and they were super quiet which was nice. Overall, this hotel is very overpriced and old so I wouldn't tell anyone to stay here.

Yelp
If you have never been to Paris, your first visit find a central hotel and spend some money (not all your money). This place hit all the buttons and was fabulous. You could walk anywhere from this place, close to Metro and great location to catch an Uber. Close to Notre Dame, St,Chapelle, West Bank, The Marais, museums, Seine...There is a laundry nearby, next door is a great French family style restaurant-the hotel and restaurant are 17th century.... Make sure you request certain rooms as some are very small. They do have a lift which worked well. They do serve breakfast but there is no need to pay the $$ they charge for a good breakfast with so many restaurants and bakeries nearby. Our room was on the 3rd floor. It was quiet with a nice size bathroom. We had two twin beds pushed together for a near KING. Clean, nice staff....I would stay again...Please note so many of these small hotels in center of Paris are being bought up by foreigners and they are not the same anymore-that's the story of two on St.Louis Isle. This one is still Paris family owned. Support them.
