I stayed here as part of a group tour and recommend this hotel highly enough, Jean Luc & Brigitte, and Natalie could do enough fir you, and extended to getting us to local sites at no charge. The rooms were fairly basic, but spotlessly clean, and all fitted with aircon. Bathroom ok but with separate tiny WC without a hand basin. Lovely position close to the river and all the restaurants in the town, and a very welcome swimming pool. Breakfast very good - but no other food at this hotel - which isn’t a problem because there are restaurants catering for all within a 10 minute walk. Will definitely stay here again if in this area.

Went for a week with Great Rail Journeys. The hotel is quite basic but very welcoming and clean. The staff are extremely helpful. |The pool was very welcome in the heat - but beware of the sudden slope from shallow to deep. Perhaps there should be a marker on the side of the pool as a warning

Had a week here as part of a touring group|Immaculately kept hotel set in largeish grounds with a clean and inviting swimming pool set on the edge of town but with everything within easy walking distance|Large well equipped room - no shortage of hot water - house keeping very good and efficient|Sufficient continental breakfast - no evening meal but Les Eyzies is not short of eateries to suit any taste|The working owners Brigitte and Jean Luc could not have been more helpful and welcoming and the same goes for all the other staff

A lovely welcoming hotel. Nice Breakfast, nice room...toilet is teen tiny though and the added bonus of the swimming pool, garden and bar area.|A few steps walk into the village with its various choices of restaurants and cafes to choose from.

After a long trip arriving quite late we were very warmly greeted by the owners who helped us to our rooms carrying bags where needed .|Our room was very bright, clean with excellent bathroom facilities. Though quite a small separate toilet (but how big do you need a toilet to be !!). Larger than normal double bed, air conditioning and a lovely view of the cliffs that the area is famous for. |WiFi throughout the hotel.||Breakfast is continental but plenty of choice, fresh fruits, yoghurt , local meats, local cheeses, delicious pastries, fresh local bread, and eggs that you can boil yourself in a rather a nifty machine. Coffee machine that seemed to suit all tastes and a good range of teas. |Very very enjoyable.|The hotel doesn't provide an evening meal ,or didn't during our visit but there are loads of restaurants in this village, one with a Michelin star and others with Michelin awards !! , you could visit a different restaurant every day for nearly a month l believe without using the same one twice, so more than enough . All are in walking distance |There is a very inviting swimming pool as you approach the hotel and towels are provided in reception.|Very close to all the local museums and centrally situated for the caves and Grotto's that this area is so famous for.|If I were ever to visit the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Thank you Hotel des Roches.

The building has a lot of history and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Not a lot of amenities but the wifi worked well. Great pool and wonderful staff. They gave us a map with the different restaurants and all were walking distance from the hotel. Free, private parking a bonus. Air conditioning not needed as the open window was perfect. Quiet location as well.

We arrived as part of a driving holiday round France. The family who own the hotel are charming and couldn’t do enough for us. You don't need to worry they don't have a restaurant as your are spoilt for choice in the village and they are all within walking distance. Rooms are simple and quite small but they think about their guests with the windows being open on arrival curtains closed. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and the beds are better than the normal hard French beds.

Brigitte, at the front desk, was very welcoming. Luckily for us, she also spoke English very well! Her recommendations for sight-seeing were spot-on and most suitable for our little group. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. There are also many restaurants within walking distance.
