Hôtel Des Trois Couronnes & Spa (Vevey, Canton of Vaud) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"On the opposite shore of Lake Geneva from Geneva itself sits Vevey, in a cluster of picturesque Swiss port towns. Hôtel des Trois Couronnes crowns this mini-riviera with a storybook facade that wouldn’t be out of place in Venice. Fitting for a landscape yielding fine wine, chocolate, and arguably the world’s best jazz — all backed by lake views to the majestic Alps beyond. Rooms concentrate elegant, old-world style cues into high-design dolce vita. It’s a place to start a memoir." - Tablet Hotels

It Is one of the finest hotels I've stayed in. Well appointed room with excellent amenities. Surreal views of the lake and mountains from the room add to the experience. The reception staff members, Emma, Chevlerie (if I got her name right) and the gentleman during the night shift were all extremely courteous and helpful and ensured we were taken good care of. Sofia Maria from the restaurant went above and beyond to remember our choices and was just exceptional with her gracious service attitude and performed het role with aplomb. Thoroughly enjoyed the spa (Jacuzzi, sauna pool and the cold bath) which was one of the best spas to relax in. The food menu though limited was of high quality. Breakfast buffet was lavish. The overall ambience and aesthetics of the hotel are par excellence. It is very well located in the centre of Vevey and an easy walk to everywhere. Overall an oasis of calm and a perfect holiday spot in the riviera. Would love be back here over and over again. My toddler daughter whose birthday we celebrated at the hotel during the trip remembers this as her most memorable part of the stay in Switzerland and truly misses it! Full marks to the exceptional hotel and service for making our stay memorable.

Our stay at Hôtel des Trois Couronnes was absolutely perfect. Everything met – or exceeded – our expectations. The service was excellent: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. The friendliness of the entire staff made a big difference and contributed greatly to the overall experience.||Our room was, in my opinion, truly unique – beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and offering an outstanding view. The location of the hotel complemented everything perfectly: peaceful yet central, with breathtaking scenery all around.||I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. If you value quality, comfort, and top-notch service, this is the place to stay.

Room was spacious and comfortable, however furnishings are very outdated and even a bit run-down (peeling wall paper, damaged doors with chipped paint). While those points did not detract from the comfort of our stay, considering the price of the room, I expect the upkeep of the hotel to be significantly better. In addition, there is no complimentary breakfast, which again for the price of the room, is surprising. The location of the hotel is of course wonderful, with incredible views of the lake, and clearly this is what is driving the price. But moving just a short distance down the road into La Tour, you can find equivalent accommodations (in better condition) with included breakfast and parking, at a fraction of the price.

I stayed recently for 4 nights with 1 night booked thru an independent booking site with their hotel name in the site called destroiscouronnes.guestreservation.comIt turned out that the website is a scam website where they add at least 50% service and tax charges on top of the room rate. A rack rate of 500 usd per room with bfast turned out to be 780usd without bfast. Beware of GUEST RESERVATIONS site when booking rooms.||I informed the hotel directly of this a few days before checking in and upon arrival at the hotel. Despite the best effort of Pierre and Emma who tried their best to remedy the situation, the manager refused to give any kind of solution or assistance. Worst of all, the manger didn’t even have the time to at least talk to us in the front desk. She sat comfortably in the back room while reception moved to and from her desk to relay messages and her decision. I expected a bit more from management, I’ve been informed by the reception that it has happened a few times before with the same website,

It is my 4th time at the hotel, and this time was perfect "-). Staff was really caring, the room was fantastic with gorgeous lake view and plenty of space for my family to be vowed, they counted 4 balconies in the family lake view suite! The location is unbeatable with lively Vevey at foot steps with cafes, shops, restaurants within walking distance. The special treats for my birthday were much appreciated, big thank you from all of us, we love this place!

I have stayed here on a number of occasions and my elderly parents come every year. I came to visit them for dinner tonight. They are guests for 10 nights. Doorman was unfriendly and unhelpful, telling me I could go park down the road 5-10 minutes walk in the rain and not in the empty spaces available, terrace was smokey, and the overpriced food was subpar (artichoke and filet de perche were both tough).

Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome at reception-where I was introduced to the hotel and its services-to the entire staff, who were extremely kind and always prompt whenever we requested room service. The room had everything I needed and was in the best location possible. The bar and spa areas were absolutely incredible, with perfectly crafted drinks created by their own team. I will definitely be returning!

Nice hotel with helpful staff. But their key arrangement with the family suite does not make sense. The suite sleeps a couple plus a child. (Our child is 12, so independent.) However, they will only give two keys. It would normally be OK to leave keys at the front desk so all three of us can go in and out independently. But the door to the suite is old-style, such that you need a key to lock or unlock it, even if you are inside. So, if two people want to go out independently, they have the choice of either leaving the room unlocked, or locking the third person in the room.

Yelp
5* no contest on this one. I have left CH 2 yrs ago and back ten I loved going there on a sunday afternoon any season to enjoy a niceclub sandwich. And over the years it was always outstanding. Yes it's pricey but boy do you get our money worth, the setting is great, a nice old fashioned smallish luxury palace on the lakeside. The terrace is a true highlight, as you face the magnificant french alps and indulge your snack, lunch or dinner the only noise that might disturb this very quiet is the horn of a "belle époque" ship on the lake ! The rooms are very comfortable, if you are lucky to have a lakeview the confort level reaches obscene levels. Having grown up in the area, I thought I was used to the view, which I found out was not the case at all. This is a new perspective when you are lying in your bed contemplating it is really something unique. So since I don't live in CH anymore I always take the time to get off the highway when driving past Vevey t grab a bite or have a coffee, and I have NEVER been dissapointed :-)

Yelp
Loved this hotel. We stayed in August and it was amazing. The location is top notch, right in front is the gorgeous Lake Geneva. The hotel is a block away from the famous The Fork and Nestlé's Alimentarium (Food Museum). The pool was amazing, huge jacuzzi, free steam and dry sauna. The staff and service were superb. If I'm lucky enough to be given the chance to come to Vevey again, I would chose this hotel. Minutes walk to restaurants, shopping and train station.
