Hotel des Trois Couronnes

We had a wonderful five night stay in September in a lakefront junior suite, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. Our room was pretty and spacious. The hotel has classic old world elegance, and excellent service. Breakfast with that lovely view was a delight. We had dinner twice in the hotel’s more casual restaurant, which was good, and walked to nearby restaurants other nights. The train station and boat dock were easily walkable for excursions. An unusual cold spell kept us from enjoying dinner or drinks on the terrace, but that looked like it would be heaven in warmer weather. We had a very memorable stay.

We had a great time to enjoy the lake front room at the hotel. The staff did great job to prepare the room for the wife's birthday. The view is breathtaking and the hotel service is great. We did not have time to enjoy the spa but the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is suitable for romantic stay and the location is super for the sunset picture of Lake Geneva.

Sleep quality was poor because of the noise from slamming doors, walking in the room (or hallway) above, toilets flushing, and the outside heavy shutters slamming against the window. The floors are really creaky and the doors are the opposite of soft close. Another sleep issue is the heat. We were told there’s no way other than turning off the radiators to get the heat down. Even so, it remained 73F/23C. This it nor for sleep with the heavy bed comforters they provide. The hotel desperately needs an upgrade. It’s been about 25 years. For example, the shower has one of those heads that moves up and down a pole and not a rain shower. Also the water fluctuated so you had to be careful not to get scorched.

There’s no better place to enjoy the dramatic view of the Savoy Alps across Lake Geneva than from a balcony of this majestic lakefront hotel. It also offers Switzerland’s best breakfast buffet (including colouring books for the littlies and bubbly for the adults). Friendly service, a good spa area and easy parking complete the picture.

Exceptional service and excellent hotel staff! One of the best places in terms of quality. The hotel brings the ambience of a traditional Grand Hotel right in front of lake Geneva with the beautiful scenery of the alps in the background. The buffet was very good, with large variety of high quality food and beverages. From the second we arrived until the second we left, the hotel employees created an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

This was a delightful place to stay in a lovely situation. The staff were all charming and professional and the cleanliness impeccable. We had a suite overlooking the lake which was really something. The reception staff were really helpful and resolved an issue over a kitchen problem with great charm. We will definitely be back.

I came here for a birthday lunch a few years ago before visiting the Charlie Chaplin Museum in Vevey and the food and service were excellent in the hotel restaurant.

Every year we end our summer vacation here. It is an oasis of calm before our hectic lives begin again.|The hotel is lovely, the rooms beautiful, the view spectacular, the staff welcoming, professional and accommodating. Breakfasts are wonderful. Vevey is charming-|lively but not "honky tonk". And so we always come back!!

5* no contest on this one. I have left CH 2 yrs ago and back ten I loved going there on a sunday afternoon any season to enjoy a niceclub sandwich. And over the years it was always outstanding. Yes it's pricey but boy do you get our money worth, the setting is great, a nice old fashioned smallish luxury palace on the lakeside. The terrace is a true highlight, as you face the magnificant french alps and indulge your snack, lunch or dinner the only noise that might disturb this very quiet is the horn of a "belle époque" ship on the lake ! The rooms are very comfortable, if you are lucky to have a lakeview the confort level reaches obscene levels. Having grown up in the area, I thought I was used to the view, which I found out was not the case at all. This is a new perspective when you are lying in your bed contemplating it is really something unique. So since I don't live in CH anymore I always take the time to get off the highway when driving past Vevey t grab a bite or have a coffee, and I have NEVER been dissapointed :-)

Loved this hotel. We stayed in August and it was amazing. The location is top notch, right in front is the gorgeous Lake Geneva. The hotel is a block away from the famous The Fork and Nestlé's Alimentarium (Food Museum). The pool was amazing, huge jacuzzi, free steam and dry sauna. The staff and service were superb. If I'm lucky enough to be given the chance to come to Vevey again, I would chose this hotel. Minutes walk to restaurants, shopping and train station.
