The positives are that this hotel has fantastic views. We had a corner room and it had a balcony, large windows and doors that we kept open. This was great. We were facing lush vegetation and since it had rained, the stream and waterfall was amazing. Access to a small private beach and nature area is also a huge plus.|Also, access to the adjacent hotel's roof top terrace and restaurant is a plus. We ate lunch there and food and service was great, plus to die for views.||Breakfast was good. Staff was always helpful and friendly. There is a community fridge, that we used to keep our prosecco cold. Rooms are clean and comfortable.||The concerns, this hotel needs some major upkeep, some areas looked unkept, clutter, this place has so much potential. Not dirty, just forgotten. The path to beach had debris, unkept, slippery. Again a little effort will transform this place. A lot of stairs, although I think there is an elevator.||Finally, keep in mind this hotel is away from city center. Walkable, we did this walk with bags uphill. It took us about 20 minutes to train station. We walked downhill and enjoyed views. A plus is there is a bus stop in front. Plenty of taxis available to take you to hotel||Overall a great stay, also great value, I paid a good price for a corner, triple room, with balcony, to die for views, adjacent to a nature reserve with a stream and waterfall, beautiful sunrise, a balcony that we enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon wine. Breakfast included, and good wifi and a private beach.
