Hotel DeVille

It's old and yes a little darker than most hotels but for the price you can't beat it. Needs new carpeting in the halls but, regarding the smell like stated in other reviews, it does not stink. Also the room was super spacious, free breakfast was really good and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It's old fashioned and some of the fixings in the bathroom and shower seem lose. The beds were very comfortable and clean but the bedding seems old and had a hole or two. If your looking for luxury, not the place for you but if your looking for safe, convenient location and clean on an affordable price than its fine.

Unique and low cost. The hotel has a very particular design that makes the experience different from any other hotel in the city. The architecture and the overall ambience is awesome. The cost is unmatched as well. On the downside it feels as it needs some maintenance and that the rooms has too much unused space. I would totally recommend it to anyone regardless of travel purpose.

Good hotel in a good location - The hotel is centrally located and the staff was helpful. I was allowed to check in 2 hours early and the guy working at night was really good and had a lot of information. My room was large and pretty quiet, the bed was really comfortable, and there were good cable channels. A few negatives - The room description listed a washer/dryer and bathrobes. I didn't have either. The wifi is open (not secure). Also, the hotel seems a little old. Overall my stay was good.

The large rooms are great. A coat of paint and some new carpets would go a long way to polish up this gem. It has certainly lost its luster but is still a value for the money. My only real complaint is the WiFi is not very strong except for the main lobby

I liked the rustic room which was very large and comfortable and quiet. The staff was pleasant and helped with all my various questions. Yes the interior is a bit dated but a quick refresher and it will be perfect no complaints what so ever.

Nice, clean, friendle staff, great breakfast. Plenty to choose from. I loved their coffee. Well centralize. Close to restaurants, casino, drug store/ mini mart. My husband and I enjoyed our stayed. Huge room. Love the full body mirror.

Stayed for 4 nights after originally booking 2! Really good location - lots of tasty restaurants within walking distance. Very easy and cheap to get a taxi/uber to any other places you want to visit. The staff here are all very friendly and polite. Maid service every day was great. Our room was huge, inc. a seating area and large bathroom. Nice & quiet at night. Bed was super comfy. Good a/c. Enjoyed the English film channels on the TV. Wi-Fi worked well. I thought the breakfast was good - fresh juice, fresh fruit, selection of breads and cereals plus some hot offerings each day - plenty of choice - I enjoyed the pancakes one day. You also get a coffee maker in your room, plus a fridge. The shower could have been a bit hotter and more powerful, and there was no view, but apart from that, no complaints! All in all, I thought it was excellent value and enjoyed my stay here. Thank you.

Very unfriendly receptionist. Makes you feel 100% unwelcome. Breakfast is average but staff is very friendly. Room is old, worn, smells... No value for money. Are the so positive feedbacks neutral and real? I doubt.
