I visited this hotel as a group tour leader with 16 persons. |This hotel is one of the nicest we experienced during our 14 days stay in Mexico. It is very well located in the middle of the city, quaint and charming, organized around a very nice patio. The rooms are clean, large and bed very comfortable, but some rooms smell humidity.|Breakfast was not a buffet, ‘a la carte’ , with a variety of choices and tasty. Staff is very nice but service is a little slow as the personnel is limited.|I recommend this hotel

A nice, small hotel with amazing atmosphere located close to the center of San Cristobal. The courtyard is really cool. The hotel has this nostalgic old feeling but the rooms are comfortable. The fireplace in the room was a great contribution to the atmosphere.

The room is so cold yet there’s no portable heater/aircon. There’s no kettle for making hot water/tea. I was told I have to go to their restaurant across the street and I’ll have to pay for the hot water. There’s no mug for brushing tea. Amenities is a very small bottle of shampoo and a tiny piece of soap. For a nice looking hotel, it’s pretty budget in everything else. Unfortunately my room is already booked for 2 nights.

This hotel is well located not far from the central square, which can easily be accessed by foot. Rooms are quite fine, cousy and even has a fireplace for when its cold. We stayed for 2 nights and really loved this hotel for its charm. The breakfast restaurant has a great selection of both hot Mexican food, fruits, youghurt, bread and cakes. The hotel has a very beautiful and cousy yard where you can enjoy coffee and light meals too. I very highly recommend this hotel for its location, charm and friendly staff🥰

Beautiful hotel with great location and warm staff. Just steps from the main square and many restaurants. My room was smaller than most, but still very comfortable. I was on a conference so the price was a bit discounted. But I think I would pay full price with the family.

Traditional Mexican casa style hotel, but renovated to give a modern twist... At the heart of the city center. During Christmas, the cathedral and the Centro were amazingly decorated. Recommended.

The hotel has a very nice colonial touch. The reason for low rating is primarily due to the staff attitude. I was in need for an adaptor as I had a bit planned business call. I asked at the reception and got almost laughed at. A similar treatment, few minutes after, at breakfast, with the waiter being quite rude as well. I typically don’t bother much, but the attitude was quite annoying. As said on the positive the hotel is in a very nice location. The ambience is also nice. Good luck finding the light switch and an electricity socket in the room, but that is acceptable given it’s a hold colonial hotel. What is less acceptable to me is a receptionist laughing at you as you’re asking for an adaptor.

Very pretty and romantic hotel. Centrally located in San Cristobal de la Casas. Bright cheerful colors throughout. I loved the hard mattress. Each room has a small patio/deck attached. No elevator. Relaxing courtyard. On-site restaurant with a nice, locally oriented menu.

Yelp
Highly recommend this hotel. Excellent location and super clean. Staff is courteous and Ms. Guadalupe goes above and beyond to accomodate your needs. Actually everyone in Sam Cristobal is is very friendly and helpful. I have been here 1 day and already fell in love with this place.
