Just because of it is located behind the famous Taj Hotel, it is expensive (7000+ one night stay) for the services it offers. Service men wait for tips by saluting repeatedly. Just to park our car for about 12 hours we were charged ₹900. The complimentary breakfast did not have good healthy choices. Uttappam was pathetic. Only with wheat bread, butter and jam along with omlette we had to be satisfied.

This is a great location (just behind the Taj Mahal palace hotel). This is the view from the room However the first room that we got (room 314) was in their old wing and was pretty run down. Next day we got shifted to the new wing which was much better.

Overall a a pleasant experience during the stay at Hotel Diplomat. Check-in process was smooth and quick even though we arrived quite earlier than check-in time which is at 1 pm. The staff was welcoming and polite. Rooms were clean. Good room service. Breakfast provided was good. The best part is it's bustling location - just behind the Taj Hotel with Gateway of India at a walkable distance. Highly recommended for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Useless hotel. Rooms are unhygienic. No services. Staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. Don't waste time here. Around this areas you get a hundred times better hotels for better prices. This is too expensive. Food is bad. Rooms are not cleaned properly. Toilet is not cleaned. AC does not work. Staff is worst.

A Perfect Blend of Luxury & Hospitality – 5 Stars! Our recent stay at Hotel Diplomat was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and seamless check-in. The ambiance of the hotel exudes elegance, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The rooms were immaculately clean, well-appointed, and designed with thoughtful details to ensure a relaxing stay. The plush bedding, modern amenities, and serene atmosphere made it a true home away from home. Dining at the hotel was a delightful experience! The food was exquisite, with a wide range of delectable options catering to different tastes. The attentive staff ensured every meal was a memorable one. What truly sets Hotel Diplomat apart is its impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, always greeting us with a smile and addressing our needs promptly. Located near Taj Palace, the hotel provides easy access to key attractions while maintaining a peaceful and exclusive retreat. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is a fantastic choice! Highly recommended, and we look forward to our next visit.

Bad hotel with poor cleanliness. There are small insects and even a cockroach in the room on the third floor, room 304. The wooden furniture is dirty. I kindly request the hotel management to improve the rooms and cleanliness. Even the bedding is bad, with stains on it, and it is reused without being washed. The staff do not clean the rooms properly.

If I could give 2 and a half stars I would but wouldn't be fair to give just 2 stars room was in all respects good that wasn't the issue getting woken at 5am by banging and housekeeping was why it's 2and a half stars location was fine didn't like the fact when I first entered I did ask front desk for change was told to go to bank which tbh was fine accept the fact some hotels won't change notes fyi it was a 500 rupees note there currency and on my check out a Indian woman asked infront of me to change notes and the same front of house man opened drawer and gave said lady change that wound me up on that regards I'm only giving 1 star for service

This hotel was very bad. The room was dirty and had bugs and cockroaches. On the last day, I saw cockroaches on the bed. I asked for a blanket, but they said they don’t have any. How can a 3-star hotel not have blankets? The cleaning and service are very poor. This place needs more care and attention.
