Wow! Just wrapped up our stay in Paris and District République. Price to value ratio for us was really important and this hotel delivered. The area is close (easy walk) to Gare Du Nord so easy to get to airport or if you come from Eurostar. The area is vibrant with good restaurant, bars and bakeries nearby. On weekends it might be a little noisy outside but on weekdays it’s pretty quiet. My wife and I slept well either way. The staff at this hotel always have a member staffing the front desk 24/7, they are polite, kind and helpful. The room was small yes, but more importantly was clean with fresh towels a firm bed and pillows. the hotel offers a good room service to clean the room daily. My sincere compliments to all the employees who made our stay safe, clean and comfortable zero complaints and would return again.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay here during part of our honeymoon. We were greeted warmly by the lady at the front desk.and checked in promptly. Our room was perfectly sized for the two of us and everything was nice and clean. Room service came daily to clean up and restock any necessities. The location was great for us and there are plenty of cafes, grocery stores, and bakeries nearby and it's within walking distance from several subway lines including some major train stations. Great staff and great stay!

A nice location for your stay in Paris. The stuff was exceptionally friendly. The room is clean and has a big window, the street was quite. The location is amazing! ❤️ Recommend going in a Blondie cafe for breakfast, it is just nearby and opens early

While walking to the hotel the area felt super sketchyyyy. Checking in was fine, front desk staff was friendly. When I got the 6th floor to go to my room, the hall lights were automatic but still shut off frequently, and the hallway was the same width as my suitcase, which made it hard to get to my room. After entering my room, I was immediately repulsed. The bed had one pillow, a white bedsheet on and a folded towel. No comforter. When checking the closet for a comforter or blanket, I found a blanket that looked like it was those cloths you use to dry your car after a wash. The paint was chipping on the walls, cracks and mold exposure on the floors, and the window shades had stains on the bottom. I paid 400-500 for this room for 4 nights. I was uncomfortable in this hotel & area and had to find a last minute solution. Overall I would recommend France as a place to go, however if you do chose to go, this is definitely not the place to stay. I checked the area, reviews, and found out that one of mt friends stayed there in the past. Moreover, after seeing all this in the room I immediately checked out and found a new hotel for the night. In addition, they are unable to refund me for the nights I didn’t stay, which just feels like money in the drain, so I would definitely not stay here ever or go back. If you are someone who wants to have the Paris vibes, I would recommend London, it is cleaner, smells nicer, and they are more accommodating

Wife and I had a lovely stay from May 26th ~ 29th.||Perfect location, close to Metro and many many great restaurants - more importantly, very friendly and helpful staff.||We stayed in room 306...planning to go back to Paris in December, and would like to stay there again. Can you offer a bigger room than 306?||I will email in October to arrange a booking.||Merci~~Thank you,|Richard

The rooms are not brand new, but clean and individually nice. The staff is awesome, always friendly and helpful 5stars plus. The location is good, close to gare du nord and right between two subway stations. Rates are not on the cheap side, but hey it’s Paris, so they are still ok. Very good spot to have some wonderful days in one of the most beautiful cities on earth.

Very affordable price considering it’s Paris and so well located. The staff is great, the rooms are small but so cleverly designed, you feel cozy, not cramped. It’s clean, convenient and, and I can’t stress this enough, really fantastic in terms of location. 10/10 would come again.

Yelp
For a quick 3-night stay in Paris, this hotel was a nice place to relax. It can be a little bit hard to find since the outside looks more like the entrance to an office building, and it's along a narrow road where there are most cafés than there is housing. However, when you enter, you are greeted to very kind staff that can speak English (so, don't fret English-speakers!) and they offer their guidance on how to have the best vacation possible. I didn't try their breakfast, but from what I could see, their eating area was pretty compact where roughly 20 people could eat at a time. I also saw fruit and bread, but nothing much beyond that. I'd say it's better to eat out for breakfast if you want more distance and variety. My room was on the first floor, and it had one bed that could fit two people. Just like the breakfast area, it was compact with the essentials, and it's definitely suited for a vacation where all you need out of a bedroom is to go right to sleep. The TV was good, but there was only one English-speaking channel that I could find: CNN. Not that it factors into my rating, this part is simply to inform. The bed was soft, the shower and toilet were functional, and no air conditioning (but that's Europe, in general). I also requested my room to be clean at 8 in the morning, and by the time I returned from my adventures, it STILL wasn't clean. The housekeeper came by at 2pm to ask if I wanted my sheets changed, just as I was going to take my afternoon nap. That's a very long wait, and I wasn't in the mood to leave my room and wait for him to be finished, so I turned him away. I'd say waiting so long to clean a room that was personally requested to be checked on is my biggest complaint with this hotel. My vacation was wonderful, and this hotel was just good enough to give me a good night's rest. But, for those interested in staying here, keep in mind that it is a minimalistic location. Do not expect fancy bedrooms or food during your stay. Doesn't make it bad, but it's important to spend 90% of your day outside and come back here for the remainder.

Yelp
Good location next to Jacques Bonsergent metro station and a few minutes walk from place république. It's also a walkable distance from the canal st-martin and around 30-40 min walk from the seine, montmarte, etc. The rooms aren't too big and the washroom is very small. Overall is was clean and cozy. The hallways are extremely tight but it doesn't really matter. The staff is very friendly and nice. We had an issue with the shower drain but they took note of it and fixed it as soon as we came back to our room.
