"The 2009 opening of Distrito Capital-one of several properties in Mexico City owned by boutique hotel trendsetters Grupo Habita-was a welcome event in the business-oriented neighborhood of Santa Fe . Though the area has a number of hotels, Distrito Capital both literally and figuratively towers above them all. Occupying a skyscraper, the minimalist property features sleek, quiet rooms, some of which have soaking tubs. While the color palette is predominantly black and white, large windows let in plenty of natural light, and oversize light fixtures cast a soft glow. The open-air pool and lounge, both found on the lobby level, are excellent places to unwind."

The room is incredible, in my opinion this hotel is for people looking for a couples place to stay and reconnect with one another. The view is incredible although this huge windows have its cons at 10-12am because they let so much sun in the room becomes incredibly Hot, to a point the AC doesn't feel like working. The street traffic noise is quite hard though it's just during traffic hours and the hotel dives you ear plugs. The bathtub and shower are quite tricky to understand at the begging but once you get the hang out of it their great Overall experience was amazing and the service from the hotel personnel was great

Distrito Capital was surrounded by other skyscrapers of high importance in Mexico City; this hotel in the Santa Fe area transported me to a world of cool, modern, elegant and mysterious charm. I arrived to a tall narrow hallway of mirrors, leading me to an elevator which took me to the lobby. At first I was little confused about where it would take me since there were no signs indicating where to go. The mystery was exciting, it gave the hotel a unique appeal. The service was very different from all other hotels, the staff was very reserved yet kind, I really liked the fact that they just let you be and don't bother you all day. I knew I was in the perfect hotel when I walked onto my floor and saw a Nespresso machine waiting for me. The hallways leading to the rooms were also very tall and narrow, painted in black to transmit the mysterious vibe. The room was very chic, with views of the city. Color palette was black, white and gray. The lack of color was very sophisticated and the design details were superb. From witty phrases on the telephone, to an impeccable taste for furniture and even the Acqua Di Parma toiletries. I loved the privacy of the bathroom, being separated by an actual door, and being far from the bedroom and shower. I note this because other Grupo Habita hotels don't have as much separation from bedroom to bathroom. One of my favorite features about the room, was the fact that there was a bathtub and shower. The bathtub was amazing, I started to feel like I was an important business man in another life. I was reading the newspaper and enjoying my hot espresso. Distrito Capital is a great place to escape from the busy city scene and become someone sophisticated and relaxed.

One of the worst in CDMX. Hot water questionable, limited (and under code) power from electrical sockets, poor and slow service. In penthouse, the blackout blinds got stuck so the all window room was bright at 6:30am. Staff acted surprised. Didn’t apologize, just said “okay”.

Very cool spot - we couldn’t hang out there as it was booked for a birthday party but hope to go back and check out the bar and restaurant next time I’m in Sante Fe

Hi. I rented for a week, it was the worst service! Internet does not work, no power for the elevator, the pool is very cold, the gym has no internet and to finish the room is very sunny and the air conditioning does not work.

Funky but can be loud if the music is playing on the pool. I will enjoyed the music so I am not complaint

Yelp
There are con artists working at this hotel. After we checked out, they charged our credit card for $100. They said that there was damage to the desk in the room. That is a complete lie, never have we had this happen to us. We asked for proof, but they never provided it. About 1 month later, someone used our credit card in Mexico City. Complete fraud! Please don't trust anyone with you credit card information.
