The location is very central, which is definitely a plus. The hotel itself is quite old and could really use some refurbishment — the furniture, bathroom, doors, and overall décor are rather dated. Even though it’s not the most modern place, I must say it’s very clean, which I really appreciated.
I’ve also noticed that lately, hotels in Italy don’t provide slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes anymore (perhaps the latter can be requested at the reception), but it’s quite inconvenient to have to walk barefoot in the room or bring your own slippers when travelling.
Breakfast was included in my stay of 4 mights and it was very good, with a nice variety of options. The staff were also very kind and helpful throughout my stay.
