Our room was really expensive which may have been due to the book fair that weekend or maybe my incompetence (my son says switch off WiFi and use a phone) causing dynamic pricing. The room was very basic with greasy handles on the wardrobe. The staff that we interacted with were helpful. A young guy came up immediately to replace the light bulb and a lady carried my luggage down the half flight of stairs to reach the lift from our room. The courtyard is not bad for bike storage although without something to lock them to. With t the staff on reception's help I was just about able to pronounce our room number correctly

amazing location, AMAZING service at the 24hr reception. rooms were quite large and good value for money- especially as it was next to a few central squares. felt so safe and welcome travelling back every night as two young female travellers. thank you!

I paid about 110 € for a night which is great. I had a room which didn't have adaptors on the outlets so I couldn't charge anything. The wifi had no password but it was "secure", according to my phone. The TV needed to be plugged off from the outlet in order to stop. The floor was noisy whenever I walked. I had to give my ID to the staff during the night. Then, during morning I had to place my baggage on the floor, within a room so I can take the free breakfast. The food was good, high quality

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Check in was easy. The person at the desk was friendly and helpful.||It is a historic hotel. Keys are what they used to be. No key cards. You need to lock your room from the outside and inside your room.||The rooms are nice. There are extra blankets in the closets. There is a small refrigerator in the room.||The bathroom is small but nice. There is an old fashioned blow dryer on the wall. The shower has a detachable handle to shower. There is good water pressure. The bath towels are really big!||There is a small bench like item in the room for your suitcase. ||The room was really quiet. All I heard was church bells ringing on the hour.||The breakfast is really nice. There is bread, fruit, yogurt, cheese, meat, juice, coffee, cereal, pastries, hard boiled eggs, etc. You can get a fresh cup of cappuccino. The staff is very nice.||The only problem was that the wifi wasn't good. It wouldn't connect.||The location is really good. It seems hidden. I almost missed it when I first came to check in. Near a lot of the city. You can walk or take public transportation to get around. Restaurants within a block away.

The location is very good . The hotel is very old and you should limit your expectations accordingly . Rooms are clean but very old Breakfast is ok and there are many places you can visit by walk .

One of the most terrible hotel experience I ever had when it comes to service. I have nowadays about 30-50 hotel nights a year in work and private. Before I had up to 200 hotel nights per year in work. I have never experienced such a lack of customer awareness in any hotel before! Everything is old, that would be ok if the service and the respect for the customer would have been there as it would have back in the days, but it's not. You will have 3 people checking you in reception any time of day, you will have 3 people checking you at breakfast... Worst breakfast ever also, even the espresso tastes strange...

The 'Economy' Room was very simple. The Bathroom would need a renovation. Surprising: a very good Mattress. Be aware: You are in the City Center! And depending on which courtyard the room faces: it might be noisy! A very old building with it's charm & character.

It was an old fashioned hotel and the rooms were basic, however the staff were exceptional and went that extra mile to help you. The location was also fantastic it had transport links at top of street. However it was within walking distance of a lot of major attractions.
