I had a nice stay here. The room was clean and I liked the art in my room. The hotel was quiet, much quieter than I expected considering the location is in a popular nightlife area. Staff was friendly and helpful, too (shout-out to the night desk worker who was super fun to talk with). My only real complaint is that my bed and pillows were way too firm - I had trouble sleeping as a result. Other than that, my stay was pleasant.

My friend stayed here for long term (a few months) and I visited several times. He would rave about how much he loved the cleaning service here. It’s a little tacky inside for me but they seemed to like it. The hallways and stuff are a bit creepy and there never seems to be anyone at the front desk but he had a balcony suite so he could just throw his keys down to me outside. The only time I talked to a desk person I asked about the rates and they pretty much told me I couldn’t stay there if I wanted to and gave me no additional information lol but the people who did live here really liked it.

My family and I lived in one of the extended stay apartments for 4 months while looking to buy a house in Rhode Island and for the most part, it was great. The weekly maid service was fantastic, those lady’s were so wonderful to us, especially to our boys. Paul, the maintenance man was top notch. Anytime we had an issue, he was there like a superhero to save the day. Xiony, the hotel manager was always warm kind to us as well. Honestly, the only downside was one rude and unprofessional front office hotel employee. I recall so many moments where he’d treat me like trash, like he just didn’t care at all. The most recent being today over our deposit refund, nearly 2 weeks and it hasn’t come through yet. We have our 4 year old son’s birthday party this Sunday which will then be followed up by the birth of our daughter this Tuesday, so ya, we kinda need that money. My wife called to check up on the status this morning and apparently this employee was “rude and condescending” to her. She was really upset by this so I felt I needed to call the hotel myself. Within the first 30 seconds I understood what she told me, he was, my apologies for the language, a jackass. After asking about the deposit, I heard his condescending sigh which was followed by him telling me he couldn’t help me and to call back tomorrow. I tried to explain why I needed an answer today and asked for a contact number for his boss, he refused then told me to call back tomorrow. I again asked for his bosses contact info and it was at this point he hung up on me, mid-conversation. Here’s the thing, it’s not so much about the deposit as it’s about the total like a care. Of course, getting our deposit back as soon as possible would put us at ease but it’s more than that. It’s about feeling respected which is a word I don’t think this employee knows the meaning of. That being said, if you’re looking for a place to stay for 1 night or 4 months, give them a shot. One bad employee shouldn’t overshadow all the other great one’s!

We had a terrible experience start to finish. There's no direct access to the entrance of the hotel so we had to carry our luggage through a crowded pedestrian square and up a set of stairs in the near 40 Celsius degree heat. The halls and room smelled of air freshener or bleach. The rooms are small and modest. They had no curtains and it filled with artificial light from the square at night. The shower curtain collapsed. We returned from a day out and about to find the toilet clogged... We don't know how the cleaner could have missed it. The staff were either absent, unhelpful or unresponsive. The best thing about the place was the check out.

We booked The Hotel Dolce Villa last minute and it was the best impulse decision. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the popular  Federal Hill(Little Italy) area, We were warmly greeted by the host. He was flexible, informative, and quick to accommodate any requests. We stayed in the "1 Bedroom Private Studio W/ Micro Kitchen" The room was immaculate and fully stocked with cooking essentials. The bed made for a good night's sleep. Though we didn't have a view, we could hear the rhythmic sounds of Latin & Italian music. The decor is a lovely tribute to the iconic and legendary beautiful Sophia Loren. Will definitely book The Hotel Dolce Villa again. PRIME LOCATION, BEAUTIFUL/ CLEAN ACCOMMODATIONS,  AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE,  & AFFORDABLE RATES!

Great location. Our balcony overlooked the patios of the restaurants with a very pretty fountain. Room exceed our expectations. Has a full refrigerator and stove as well as dishes and tableware. Some pots, pans and utensils. Floors are tile throughout. Beds are comfortable with two bedrooms. The only downside was our room faced an alley that has very bright spot lights on all night. They lit up our rooms just like daylight. There's no elevator, so everything has to be carried up the stairs. Still.. wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel was relatively clean and safe but it didn't FEEL relatively clean or safe. The parking lot is sketchy. The staff at the front desk was nice and the neighborhood is cool, though. Also an incredibly loud fire alarm or security alarm went off at 6 am. I tried to call the front desk but the phone had no dial tone. I called the hotel with my cell and no one answered because no one staffs this place overnight. I honestly was excited to leave by the end.

The free parking is lie and if they park your car for you ($20.00 fee) they don't tell you were they've parked it. So if you need it before 8 in the morning you have to search for it. Good bye early flight. There is no staff on at night. They close. So, if you need anything, like your car, forget it. The hotel is clean, its noisy and its in the middle of a party zone. But we found that very fun. I'd book it again with the caveat of no luggage and knowing where my car is. If you have luggage don't book the top floor because there are no elevators. So both fun and anxiety ridden.
