Hotel Dollar

My experience in the Hotel Dollar was good! The rooms are a bit old, but comfortable! The breakfast was great (I suggest trying the homemade oatmeal muffins!!). Above all, service was wonderful. It was a pleasant stay. Would've wanted to stay longer and enjoy the deck.

i loved this place...considering it´s 10 minutes´walk to both popular beaches, i expected it to be quite rubbish for the price we paid. we got there and realised we´d accidentally booked a twin instead of a double room, within 10 minutes they changed the room even though it seemed they were quite busy. the room was simple (a bed, two bedside tables with lamps), but it also had a fridge, which is quite unusual for me to find at a B&B. there was ample space in the wardrobe and the room was very clean and well-maintained. the free internet was strong, the free breakfast was simple but plentiful (bread, croissants, rolls, fruit, jam, butter, tea and coffee) and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. also, the veranda at the front is quite cute to take breakfast on or have a beer in the evening before going out.

A familiar-looking hotel, somehow rundown, nicely located at a short walk from Playa Brava. Small room, with a small table and a stool, small bathroom with a microscopic shower. Clean but in urgent need of renovations. Basic breakfast. Slow wifi. Parking available in the street. I know Punta del Este is expensive, but for the quality it offers, I think this is an expensive hotel. Owners and personnel are very nice.

Service minded staff, very friendly and helpful. 10 min walk to the center, less to the beach. The hotel has a terrace where you can have your breakfast or just sit and relaxe. Smokefree rooms. Breakfast was good and abondant. Several restaurants nearby. Rooms available with or without AC. We did not need AC during our stay. Our room was a little bit small. There was TV in our room.

The service is excellent, the employees were lovely, polite and helpful. They made me feel at home. The hotel itself is simple, but clean, calm and not expensive at all. Close to Playa Brava, Conrad Casino and the city center.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel very much - friendly staff, nice rooms and good breakfast. Very close to the beach and restaurants. And the price for the room was not expensive. Air conditioner worked well. Plus we could order breakfast in the room.

Hotel run by a bunch of very friendly ladies. The room i got wasn't big but well maintained and everything in it was working, including the fridge and the fan.||Hotel is located some 5 min walk from the beach and some 10 min walk from the center and the marina||Breakfast is abit basic but served with a smile,and anyway there are plenty of places to get better breakfast right near

Dollar Hotel is in a good location, in a walk distance from Brava beach and the peninsula. Bathroom is very small. It's a good cost-benefit comparing to other hotels in the same area. They provide a place to park car, in the same block of the hotel.
