If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay near the city center, this hotel is an excellent option. It offers clean and well-equipped rooms at a fantastic price. The staff here are friendly, competent, and welcoming. The parking is conveniently located just a few meters away and costs €10 per day. One thing to note is that some rooms are located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so it might be challenging if you have large bags.

This is a very clean one star hotel. It’s a bit old and you’ll be surprised when you see the key for your room. Rooms have air conditioning and heating in the bathrooms. Beds are comfortable and it’s quiet so you can get some good sleep. There is underground parking a block away - 10€ for 24hrs. I think there is breakfast but we didn’t get a chance to try because of really authentic bakeries a few minutes away.

Budget hotel, not far from the train station but a very nice version of that style of hotel. Expect some stairs, no immediate parking but there are several garages nearby. Excellent location close to the train station, restaurants and directly below the University. Rooms were comfortable.

Great value for the price. The rooms are basic but the location is fantastic. The rooms seemed clean and the beds were comfortable. The owner was kind and showed us exactly where to park.

Good location. Quiet rooms at night. Friendly staff. The WiFi on our floor was a little wonky. They have 2 SSIDs with the same name. One works much better than the other. Some reviews gave them a low rating for needing to update their decor. Well.. They were cheap, centrally located, and friendly. We paid about 68 Euros for a double bed. That's a bargain. This isn't the W hotel.

I try to support small proprietors whenever possible, and felt choosing this hotel has allowed me to do that. It is lovingly run by Mr. and Mrs. Santos who speak just enough English to ensure a smooth stay. I asked for a warm room because I was sick with a horrible cold. I got just that, a sunny room with the sun streaming in each morning, plus it had a lovely view of Coimbra University perched high on the hill. The decor is very traditional, dark wood furniture, but the bathroom has been updated. The shower is small with a shower curtain enclosure, water is nice and hot with good pressure. What I also liked about the bathroom was that it had a heat lamp above the door that kept the room warm. The staff really kept the place clean as you can see them working hard with their buckets and bleach.||It is very centrally located, close to good cafes, restaurants and Coimbra A train station is just a couple of minutes walk. From the Rede Expressos bus station, it is a 15-20 minute walk down a main road and easy to find. The location also makes it easy to get to the University and the traditional market where you can see fresh fish and bacalhau being sold.||Mr. Santos personally serves you breakfast in the morning. It is a typical basic breakfast with coffee and tea, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, muffin, cheese and fresh rolls.||There are no elevators but Mr. Santos helped me carry my luggage to my room.||As you can see, it is a small hotel and the owners are there to do a lot of the caring taking. It is good value and in a perfect location. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or to return for another stay.

Located right in the heart of the town, only a minute away from the train station, literally! Very nice and clean, and very quiet too. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating by allowing us to leave baggage before check-in and after checkout. Would highly recommend it!
