The location requires you to park at garage ideally, away from closed off vehicle area with cameras mounted. 5 minute walk away. Restricted area surrounds the hotel. The breakfast was good, service good and location to walk into either new town area or old area was excellent. English was spoken.

Beautiful hotel and everything is perfect. A double room is €60 per night but it is so worth it.

Six nights at the Don Carlos Hotel in Cáceres were delightful in every way. Lovely room with balcony and street view, clean, very comfortable bed, quiet. The public spaces are also very nice, with attention to detail to keep an essence of the past, with artwork and furnished spaces to sit. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. The location is wonderful, with many restaurants, shops, and cafes within a couple of minutes’ walk. It’s maybe a 7-to-10 minute stroll to the Plaza Mayor and the main gate to the World Heritage Monumental City, which is simply amazing. A key bright spot of the many was the staff of the Don Carlos who were friendly, helpful, professional, and accommodating. Their purpose really seemed to be that my stay be as best as possible and that I was happy with the hotel and the services. (I don’t tend to eat an earlier breakfast and didn’t reserve it so cannot comment on that aspect of the hotel’s services.) I booked directly with the hotel and that was easy to do. I would not stay anyplace else when in Cáceres, and it’s such a wonderful city (and province) that I plan to return time and again.

We stayed just for 1 night & would recommend the hotel. Our room was clean & perfectly well appointed. The breakfast was plentiful & catered for all tastes. Parking was available at an extra charge nearby. The staff were friendly & offered useful advice about the town.

Great location. Nice staff. Parking available at an additional cost, not too far away. Sound proofing between rooms severely lacking, could hear the room next door in the bathroom, especially when they were showering after returning from a late night out!!

Great location, right in the city center. Just 5 minutes walk from the plaza Mayor and the entrance of the old city. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are good for a 2 star hotel. Clean and sufficient space. A little noise of your neighbor comes with it. Bathroom looked like parts of it (toilet, washstand) where recently renewed. Parking is available (close by, 3 minutes walk) and a the staff will explain how to get there. Close to the hotel are many restaurants, bars, shops etc. If you go there by car...the hotel is situated in an area with restrictions (for cars) but because you're a hotel guest it's allowed to drive up to the hotel.

The streets are narrow and you are allowed to park outside the hotel to unload. Reception area is small but inviting and the staff very helpful and friendly.||Information was sent earlier to inform us where to park our car with codes included and map. We had booked parking.||||The Hotel is in a very old building with vaulted ceilings and stone walls. It has character.||||The room and en suite were clean.||||The breakfast was lovely with meats, yogurt, rolls and bread for toasting Filled croissants with cheese and ham too. ||Each table had their own tongs to take the bread etc from the plates set out. All very hygienic.||||We enjoyed our 2 night stay and were directed to restaurants in the city for our evening meal.||||A delightful and historic Hotel in the City.||||Shampoo and soap were in the bathroom and if you required anything else there is note saying, please ask.
