Perfect position for exploring the old town. Comfortable spacious rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Reception was really helpful. Our room had an outside area facing the sunset which was lovely. They have parking but I'm pleased we came by train and taxi as the old town roads are very narrow but the station is a way out.

This hotel was a delight - we had a comfortable rooftop room with a lovely terrace overlooking the Alcázar.  The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor and art work was beautiful and a great deal of thought has clearly been given to the hotel design. Breakfast was nicely laid out with a great choice of all the usual staples. We absolutely loved Don Felipe and can't recommend it highly enough.

Pleasant hotel close to Segovias historic sights in the Old Town. Our room was comfortable with a view of the garden and Alcazar. Very pleasant staff.

Hotel Don Felipe is a wonderful little oasis in the middle of Segovia. Although the street is busy with tourists during the day, it quiets down for a good night’s sleep. There is a wonderful terrace with a view of the Alcazar. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of options.

So glad I chose this hotel! Stayed 2 nights as our first stop in Spain. Room #306 has a beautiful view (and balcony) of the Alcazar. Room has 2 twin beds, desk area, mini fridge, closet and decent sized bathroom with bidet. The shower is amazing! The breakfast was a good selection of eggs, meats & cheeses, fruit, pastries, coffee, juice and cold cereals for 9euro. Hotel is within walking distance to most of the sites in Segovia. Really loved our stay here! One interesting experience... Your room key card powers your room. There is a slot on the wall next to the door where you insert the key card to turn on the power to your room. This was not explained at check-in and we didn't see that it was written on the key card paper. I had to ask the hotel attendant at the front desk and he came up to the room to show us.

Smart, cosy, quiet, well designed, good value. Handy for alcazar. Good views. Above average breakfast - plenty of fruit, attentive staff.

Cons|There were no boxes of facial tissues in the room, so I asked for some. I was told they don’t provide it. ||There was no hair conditioner either & none was provided. I have long hair- hair conditioner is not a luxury but a necessity & something I expect in a hotel of this caliber. ||Both detracted from the experience. It makes the hotel sound cheap & they both don’t cost much. Do it!||Buffet breakfast at 9Euro PP was continental & just fair.||The male desk clerk was the rudest desk clerk I have ever encountered. There is no way he should be dealing with guests. He obviously did not like dealing with tourists. He was much better to me when I started speaking in Spanish. Maybe he doesn’t like non-Spanish speaking guests? I am not fluent in Spanish so that was why I spoke in English at first. We had just gotten to Spain, was jet lagged & my Spanish was rusty. After that encounter, I just tried to speak Spanish everywhere.||Pros|Really large nicely appointed room with a view of the castle. We had a jacuzzi in a separate room next to the bathroom. We also had a couch, desk & table & 2 chairs in the room.||Nice outdoor seating area with great views of the castle. ||Good location- 10 minutes’ walk to the castle & 15 minutes to the aqueduct.||Hotel has a strange layout with rooms on various levels & several elevators & hard to figure out until you get used to it.||Take a taxi there as you won’t find it on your own.||We flew in from overseas & stayed 2 nights. That worked out perfectly to get over jet lag & take our time. But probably one night is enough to see all the sights in Segovia.|| Conclusion- Segovia is a one & done city so we won’t be returning.||If you like my review, I hope you'll click the 'helpful' button; those of us who write reviews live for those and it motivates us to do more.

Yelp
My husband and I were only in Segovia for one night, but this hotel still managed to feel like home. Our room was clean, neat and tidy, with coffee machine and mini-bar. It was quite spacious. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, spoke fluent English and helped us pick up a few more useful Spanish phrases. The garden area was a lovely spot to have a drink in the evening. Very close to the Alcazar, cathedral, main square and good restaurants
