HOTEL DON JESUS

The owner was super nice and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. It's one block away from the main street so it keeps you close to everything yet it's much quieter at night. In the second floor they have a restaurant with great breakfast and lunch menu for great prices and the stuff was a very welcoming as well. Will definitely come back.

The most friendly couple on the Azuero Peninsula own and run this charming hotel. Yaisa is the face of the property and handles every reservation herself. When we booked, she made us feel as though we were the only customers she cared about. After arriving and speaking with other guests, they voiced the same notion. The rates are amazing. The pool is hidden from the street. Most everything you might need is within a couple small blocks. Yaisa is an excellent resource if you have a need. Local Fondas are very good. Our favorite is adjacent to Banco General. It's cafeteria style with several options. If you like pizza, message Kasa21. They make the best pizza, hands down.

This is a small, family owned hotel. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The bed is comfortable, the ac works great and everything we need is within 3 blocks. Prices are very reasonable!

We were treated like family during our stay. I am in an electric wheelchair. They gave us a room with enough room to get me in and out in my chair. Rooms were clean and cool.

My partner & I stayed here in early March 2015 for 2 nights. We had an adequate room (AC, ovrhd fan, cable TV, free wifi) for $44/night double. The staff was very accommodating and always cheerful. The real bonuses with this hotel are: 1 - location - 2 blocks off the main street so quite quiet 2 - large common room with 2 computers, coffee machine, comfortable living room furniture, tables and chairs 3 - large outdoor veranda with tables and chairs overlooking the pool (which was not functioning during our visit) 4 - attached restaurant for breakfast and lunch. (good breakfast for <$5). Free secured parking on site. I recommend it for accommodation in Las Tablas

Stayed one night.. People were courteous and friendly although they did not speak much English. The room was clean and comfortable. Price was very reasonable. It was quiet and just a short walk from the bus station.

Hotel Don Jesus is targeted at a Panamanian audience. The staff is very friendly and tries very hard to be helpful and the hotel is very clean. Having said that, the hotel lacks a few things North American travelers expect. No hot water and bad water pressure makes showers less than pleasant. This is a Spanish speaking country. I hope your Spanish is better than mine if you visit. We love Panama with all of it's foibles, but it's not for everyone.

Clean comfortable rooms, cold a/c, hot water, conveniently located. Friendly staff. Would absolutely stay here again.
