Spent 10 nights in a superior room with my wife.|The room was clean and had everything we needed. |Safe, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities.|Nice view from the balcony.|The only negative we had was that the people in the rooms on either side of us were smokers. They were always out on their balconies puffing away and stinking out our balcony and sometimes our room, depending on wind direction. |Although the hotel is right in the centre of town, we found our room to be nice and quiet at night time.||We paid for car parking and were allocated a numbered space in the underground car park.|Very convenient and decent sized spaces. The car park is gated and secure.|It was one of the better car parks we used in Spain.||Pool is always very busy. We could usually find sun loungers, but sometimes it was difficult.|Apparently, there is a rule against reserving loungers and leaving them but we saw plenty of reserved beds with no one with them.|We stayed on a B&B basis and only ate at the hotel at breakfast, although other meals were available to us.|Breakfast was very good. Always had a good variation of options and decent coffee. ||As is often mentioned in other reviews, the guests at the hotel are of the more senior age bracket. We are mid fifties and we're some of the younger guests when we were at the hotel. ||The hotel has a gym which is quite small but has everything I needed and decent kit. It was quite quiet each time I used it.|| I can't comment on the entertainment as we didn't see it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. |I can see why this hotel has its good reputation and may be back in the future||

Lovely hotel with very comfortable and clean bedrooms. Staff extremely friendly and helpful particularly Raymond on reception. Food good and overall service by the staff excellent. Very special shout out to Stefan the pool attendant who worked tirelessly to make sure that I was adequately shaded in the very hot Benidorm sunshine. What that man doesn’t know about shade is not worth writing about. First class hotel and well worth the visit. 5 stars.

This was my 2nd Visit and was a short break with my Two Sisters to celebrate a 60th Birthday. ||Reception Staff on check-in were excellent. Professional, Friendly and Very Quick. Our room was ready for us even though it was only late morning, so again a major plus. |We had booked a Superior Room as there were three of us, we definitely needed the extra space. The coffee table was removed to accommodate the extra bed. Rooms are spotless with good quality Mattresses and Bed Linen, Towels, Robes and Slippers. The pillows could be better but we did get a good nights sleep. ||The hotel advertises a sea view from every room but it depends on what you class as a sea view ! We were on the Fourth Floor in a corner room. If you look closely across the main road, between the buildings and trees you can just see it ! Being on a corner we also had a fantastic view of a rooftop carpark and all along the strip behind ! I have added photos from our balcony of the supposed sea view and some from the side street.||We have stayed in other Hotels in Benidorm where a sea view means a sea view ! Depends on what is important to you personally. ||Sitting on the balcony of a late evening was quite noisy especially when there’s live football on in the bars along the strip ! As it was only a short break we didn’t ask for a better room but had we of been here for a longer stay, this room would have been disappointing ! ||The Cooked English Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice but we have definitely had better ! The selection of yoghurts and fresh fruit was poor for us. Evening meals were standard English fayre, fine if you enjoy a roast and veg, pie and chips or basic pasta dishes. The desert choice is very poor, rice pudding, sponge pudding, crumble and custard or ice cream. You will not go hungry but in our opinion, fine dining it is not ! If we were to stay again, we would only book for Bed & Breakfast. ||The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to be in the New Town as it’s close to the Beach (five mins walk but across a very busy main road), Plenty of shops right outside and the Nightlife of the Strip is directly behind.||The Old Town is about a 20/25 minute walk either along the promenade or along the main road where there are loads of shops, bars and restaurants.||All in all we enjoyed our short stay but don’t think we will return again as we personally prefer to be closer to the Old Town and benefit from an actual sea view

My wife and I are just home after a week at DP (our first time) We love Benidorm, it is so much more than just the Strip and the beach. We have stayed in quite a few different hotels but after seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor ,and a quick look in on our last trip decided to book DP for a week in June and For Christmas as well. I am so excited to say it exceeded our expectations. It was mainly more mature clientele but suited us, as no kids in the pool or junior discos at night. (Plenty of hotels in Benidorm that cater for families) The food was really top notch for a buffet service. Drinks were all reasonable priced. The staff could not help you enough. The rooms were carpeted which keeps the noise down and cleaned to a high standard. There was entertainment of 2 or 3 acts each night and for us the Il Divo tribute act was outstanding. Thank you so much DP for a wonderful holiday looking forward to Christmas.

Back to the DP Hotel again for the 4th time and it still retains a first class rating. From check, o check out, all staff on reception were excellent. Restaurant staff coped very well under extremely busy circumstances as did the bar and pool side staff. |The DP is ideally located in a central position for all amenities that Benidorm offers. The restaurant meals are of a very high quality with an extensive menu (at all meal times) and the staff serving are really on the ball when it comes to clearing the tables. All rooms have sea views and room facilities are second to none even for a "basic room''

Honest review based on our own opinion: |Excellent location, beautifully clean and lovely décor throughout. All rooms have sea view, obviously the higher the better, we were on 5th floor which was still fine and no noise from the strip at night once the balcony door closed. We had a standard room which suited us, cant comment on the superior rooms. |All staff are friendly and helpful practically the ones on reception. |The food choice was ok, the longer your there the more repetitive but that's the same in all hotels and this is not a complaint. All the food was always fresh, hot and replenished no matter what the time. |Pool side: In our opinion its on the small side for the amount of guests. Hotel could do with an extra sunbathing area. It's correct what others have stated you can not reserve a sunbed before breakfast, however, you have to be quick, it was like watching wacky races once the pool door opened LOL. Some must set their alarm for 6am to get in for breakfast for it opening at 8 and que to get through those pool doors. It was also a bit of a battle for a parasol. The chap around the pool does a great job and I do feel for him as he can not please everyone, he was constantly moving parasols and beds for people. |Evening meal time, once again there were ques to get into the restaurant early in order to reserve their place for the entertainment. Anyone from outside can book into the restaurant for a meal and stay for entertainment which can also limit seats. |It has been mentioned by regular visitor's to the hotel about children/younger people being there. To be honest we thought it nice to see young smiling happy faces, it felt like the fun police were about at times LOL. |All in all we did enjoy our stay, but needless to say we went out most days as we both still work and refused to be controlled by other guests routine's/times. My husband works as a maintenance man in a care home and stated at one point he felt like he was at work LOL.|Would we go again? honest answer is we don't know.

So we are just back from the don pancho , were we stayed for the last 7days . The entrance to the hotel is breathtaking, and gets even better as you walk in to the main reception area . The guy who checked us in was a really nice guy who had us checked in very promptly so we could get on with our holiday . My husband had booked us the superior room which was fantastic. The room had a spacious bathroom with a shower , and then there was all the amenities, shower gel , soap, moisturiser shampoo , shower cap and plenty of toilet rolls . The room was very spacious with plenty of room for your clothes and 2 bedside tables . The bed and pillows were very comfortable and there was extra bedding if needed . The balcony was large with 2 chairs and feet stools also a little table . The hotel also provides clean towels for your sunbed , which you can get at reception everyday . The food in this hotel is delicious and if you go half board you can swap lunch and dinner which we have never been able to do at any other hotels we have stayed in . The pool at this hotel is a bit on the small size , but to be fair it was never that packed . My only complaint is it would need to be colder , as most people get in to cool down from the heat although my husband loved that it was a little warmer than other pools lol . The pool attendant stefan worked very hard all day to accommodate everyone, but I definitely think this guy could do with a little help . The day before we left , he literally looked like he was drenched as he was working that hard as he always did , but the heat was probably too much for him to be honest . He is fantastic worker , but seriously get him some help . |Overall this hotel is definitely worthy of its 4 stars and we will definitely be back , thanks from Jacqueline and Glenn ❤️

Firstly, the hotel is & will likely remain the best hotel in Benidorm by far. However, on our arrival a couple of weeks ago, we were informed by others staying there that there were some unpleasant UK guests (all guys) who were drinking in the pool, unfortunately, they stayed for several more days & were nothing but loud & annoying. The phrase, "An oasis of peace" did not apply here.|Once they had left, another rowdy lot (all guys) from UK replaced them & were not dissimilar, by drinking in the pool & even provided with a small table by Steffen to put their drinking vessels on it when done!!! A member of staff came out of the pool bar & ordered them out immediately.|These instances spoilt my wife & my trip over a period of 8 or 9 days of our 2 week break.|We have been & enjoyed the Don Pancho for the last 8-9 years (ex covid) & feel that there are a few changes that let it down as it was always a peaceful environment where people met up regularly & could hear themselves think!|Not sure it will be for us going forward if "stag"/"hen" parties are aloud to stay & disrupt what has always been a wonderful time.|Finally, all staff are great but the food this year was not up to its usual standard in our opinion.
