Hotel Donatz

We had two families stay at Hotel Donatz during Christmas week and we all had a fantastic time. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was incredibly delicious and the wine bar and restaurant were fabulous. The hotel location is on a quiet street, and close to the train station. We will all go back to Hotel Donatz in the future.

Wonderful experience. We stayed here during the St. Moritz Snow Polo and had an excellent experience. Service was forthcoming and friendly. The rooms are super clean and cozy with the wooden furnitures. The wine bar must be tried! The breakfast had a great and fresh selection of local products. And the free Spa entry for Mineralbad Samedan is a great and lovely touch. Highly recommended!

Wow the chef makes imaginative, tasty food! And the service at this small boutique hotel was excellent. Comfortable rooms and quiet too despite opening on a street. We came here for cross country skiing and it was well located for skiing straight from Samedan or taking bus or train to nearby towns and trails.

room is clean, and spacious. love the fact that the booking was inclusive bath house experience. it’s a must try. the Donatz restaurant is also superb.

Really nice hotel in the centre of Samedan. Super helpful staff. Great breakfast. Modern and comfortable. I booked late and could only get a single room which was warm, quiet but a little small for me. Recommend Samedan to get away from busy and expensive St Moritz.

Great experience. The room was spacious and bright (we had 63), facing out onto the main drag. Bed was really comfy. Our room had loads of storage space. The staff were lovely, spoke English. Excellent food - both breakfast and dinner. The half pension really is a good deal. Free use of the mineral bath, public transport ticket. The hotel is immaculate, well maintained, staff are competent and friendly. Hotel is dog friendly, dogs can stay for a nominal fee. We’re not skiing people, but I think the access to winter sports is good. ||The train station is very close, less than a 10 minute walk. It is up a steep hill, so if you have a mobility issue, check on taxi service. It’s available. ||We enjoyed our stay so much, we’re going back in June.

Cozy hotel in the centre of the village. Their wine bar is a must try. Excellent service by the ladies at the reception as well as Dániel at the bar. The free entry to the mineral bath is a nice bonus.

The newly renovated eating area looks beautiful. Few extra rooms added for privat celebrations. |And as always super delicious food and great service. We really enjoyed our time off. And I realized how kids friendly the hotel is. Once more a remarkable time at a wonderful place.
