Hotel Doria

I recently stayed at Hotel Doria in Amsterdam, and it truly enhanced my experience in the city. Situated just 30 meters from Dam Square, the hotel’s central location made exploring Amsterdam’s vibrant streets and landmarks effortless. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warmth and helpfulness stood out. The room was a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing, offering a peaceful ambiance for restful nights. Mornings were delightful with a breakfast featuring a variety of options, including fresh bread, cereals, cheeses, eggs, fruits and yogurt. This satisfying start set the tone for each day. Despite its prime location amidst the city’s hustle and bustle, the hotel maintained a tranquil environment, allowing me to unwind and relax. I highly recommend Hotel Doria to anyone visiting Amsterdam; its combination of excellent location, attentive service, and comfortable accommodations made my stay memorable.

Food was great, arrived in a timely manner and was piping hot. Very clean restaurant, pleasant helpful staff and prices are good. I would 100% recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions, shops, and public transport. One of the highlights was the Italian restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was authentic and delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The front desk receptionists were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay – always professional, welcoming, and ready to assist. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to come back!

Very central in Amsterdam. Some noise in the nights, but given the location this is to be expected - widows do a good job of masking however. Rooms very clean, a touch dated. Staff very polite and helpful. I found the bed comfortable. Its a 3 star hotel, in a good location, for a good price.

It was quieter than I expected as it is close to the square, staff are friendly and helpful the breakfast was delicious. Lots of different stores within a 10 minute walking radius. I will definitely be booking here again for my next visit!

First of all the location is excellent, right in the middle of the city centre . You can almost walk to all the main attractions. The location alone deserves more then 5 stars if that was possible. However, the room was extremely clean but abit on the smaller side. This is completely normal considering most buildings in the centre of Amsterdam are on the older side. The breakfast was good. It consists of fruit, variety of bread spreads both sweet and savoury & several beverages. The staff were very helpful , superfriendly and willing to answer all the questions we had. Ellen in particular was extremely friendly, chatty and helpful. I will definately come back to hotel Doria because I had a pleasant experience. This hotel is a little gem.

I’ve enjoyed my stay at Hotel Doria! Amazing staff, very attentive as well as the location of the hotel - in the heart of Amsterdam, what more could you ask for! The hotel rooms are great for a short stay to explore and experience the Dutch life. I will be coming back in the future for sure!

Visited the restaurant only, food was tasty and perfect after a long day of walking. Not too long a wait. Great playlist 😊

Came in to stay a couple hours. Price was OK, but room was tiny and people were making noise in the hall ways all night. Couldn't sleep at all. Terrible experience.
