Hotel Doupiani House

Amazing, rustic-style accommodations at an affordable price (considering it's high season). The view and scenery are breathtaking! Nice, cosy, clean rooms. Great breakfast with local products. Located near restaurants and a mini market and a 5min drive to nearby Kalambaka. The staff was very hospitable and helpful as well. Definitely coming back here again! I strongly recommend this place for both locals and tourists!

Small quiet hotel with stunning views of Meteora Our family of four stayed at Doupani House Hotel while visiting Meteora in August 2025. The hotel is located in a quiet spot off the main road in the village of Kastraki. It was clean and welcoming, with a full, delicious breakfast. Our room was small but comfortable, with a nice balcony offering a stunning view of Meteora. The bathroom however could use some maintenance, and while the AC was functional, it didn’t fully cool to the set temperature. Overall, we certainly recommend Doupani House Hotel for a peaceful and scenic stay in Meteora.

We all loved staying here! Doupiani is in a quiet neighborhood and has a parking area. The views from our rooms were stunning. Comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, helpful front desk staff. We highly recommend staying here if overnighting in the Meteora area.

Definitely a hotel with a view. Comfortable rooms,on site parking. One of the best features for us was the home.made breakfast which they are rightly proud of.|You can sit on your balcony or in the front of the hotel and literally have a wine whilst watching the majestic site of the sun setting over meteora. Nice bar area for sitting too although they don't publish this much and many where wondering if it was actually pen and available which it was.

Astonishing place with incredible views and quietness. Staff was kind from the very first moment until the check out. I do believe that the magic of this place is 99,8% because of the people that works in here. From the visible team at the entrance until the cleaning crew, everyone makes this place unique. If you don't come with car you're ~500 meters away from the center. Breakfast does not make sense either with great local ingredients and typical Greek food. The price-quality ratio is exponentially positive. More than recommended.

This is a difficult review to write. But the truth is this hotel is tired and so is its operations. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, at least when I was there. For me this was a big disappointment. In my long trip I think this was the only 4 star rated hotel I stayed out without the ability to have any food. Obviously they serve breakfast but this too was a bit disappointing. It does have great views but so do many other hotels in the area. There are also plenty of restaurants to go to eat. But when you arrive tired after a long day travelling it’s for me all it’s essential there is some food on offer, even a sandwich. The place is dark too, it has a charm in its internal decor in the lounge area but better use of sensitive lighting would transform it. An ideal place to hold a wake perhaps but not for a place to come back to after inspiration from the beauty of geology and human creation that is Meteora The owner is building a new hotel in the grounds of this one. So post 8am there is the noise of building works. It’s almost like the owner has already mentally moved on to the new one and is not putting any love into the old one

We stayed in a panoramic view room at Doupiani House Hotel, and it was everything I hoped it would be. The view of the famous Meteora rock formations from our balcony was breathtaking, and it was such a treat to wake up to that scenery each morning. The room itself had a bit of an older, dated feel, but it was comfortable overall. The beds were cozy, and I especially appreciated the shutters, which kept the room wonderfully dark at night.||Breakfast offered a nice variety, including fresh local fruits from the garden, which was a lovely touch. The hotel also has a charming courtyard with lots of flowers, greenery, and plenty of seating, making it a relaxing place to spend some time. Parking was easy as well—the lot was a good size and we never had trouble finding a spot.||Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay if you want comfort, good amenities, and unbeatable views of Meteora.

Our room with view looked out at construction which started every morning at about 7. Breakfast was fantastic but no other meals are available. A mini fridge in the room is not actually a fridge. I was told it would keep an already cold thing cold. More like an insulated box? Room heavily scented at check in. We had to leave the balcony door open to ventilate but then room was full of flies.
