The hotel manager's intolerance completely ruined my stay. She refused to honor several options she had previously offered. When I kindly reminded her that guests truly matter, she accused me of disrespecting her. No room for guest's needs and wishes in this hotel. Later, I discovered reviews from other guest's describing similar issues. Additionally, the hotel is extremely noisy in the morning, the swimming pool is often dirty, and the Wi-Fi is unreliable—making it impossible to address any important issue.

Lovely family run hotel in the quaint town of San Antonio de Areco. We arrived via bus from BA and walked from the bustop. It was maybe 15 minutes but caused us to arrive at 9:30 pm. We felt badly that we were so late but Lucila and Sra Draghi were so kind and welcoming. She recommended a fantastic restaurant for a late dinner. |The location is perfect-right around the corner from the plaza and Mariano’s workshop ( brother of Lucila). It is a clean charming room with a comfy bed/pillows. We had a balcony which overlooked the pool and well manicured yard. Breakfast may be inside or outside depending on your choice. It is more than enough to begin the day. Lucila would cook you eggs if desired. Additionally, she assisted in getting us a cab several times. We stayed for three nights and loved every minute!

We decided to treat ourselves to the stay in this cute place and we are very happy we did. The place is beautiful, full of birds and flowers and Lucila is the most cheerful and helpful of hosts (we made a good use of the pool too). The location is great as well. We ended up staying longer than we planned as we couldn't face going back to Buenos Aires after our stay here.

An amazing little jewel in the old section of San Antonio de Areco. The proprietor and her mother will make you feel like family. The grounds are perfectly manicured so you feel like you are staying at the house of royalty. Nice little pool for soaking (not swimming laps). The yard is wonderfully relaxing as you soak up the sun and listen to the tinkle of the fountain. A nice light breakfast is included.

It was a very hot day in March this year, when we arrived at the Draghi hotel. Lucia welcomed us with great kindness and cordiality. She gave us tips on how to spend the day. But due to the heat we decided to spend the afternoon in the fantastic garden and took a dip in the beautiful swimming pool. The room was very comfortable and decorated in an old colonial style. The breakfast the next morning was served to us in the garden, all the products were fresh and genuine. If I go back to Argentina I would definitely go back to Draghi Hotel. Fantastic place to have a wonderful break from buenos aires. Thank you Lucia

A family-owned property with 9 spacious rooms. Basic breakfast but the kindness of the personnel makes the stay enjoyable. Nice pool but no recliners. Good location and main places to visit at a walking distance. Parking for 5 cars included in the rate.

We stayed here for only one night while visiting San Antonio de Areco. We were warmly welcomed to this beautiful place by Lucila, the owner and manager, who gave some excellent local information. We were staying in a small cottage set in a beautiful garden and the air was full of orange blossom and jasmine scent. The bedroom and living room were of an excellent size, as was the bathroom and the kitchen had everything necessary to self-cater if you were staying there longer. There were a few minor issues with fixtures and fittings, which I pointed out during check out and I’m sure they will have been fixed now but it’s a pity that the housekeeping staff did not bring them to the attention of the Lucila; that aside, it did not spoil our stay. We had arrived by bus from Buenos Aires and it was around a 10-minute walk with our cases, from the bus station to the hotel, mainly on the road to negate the need to constantly pull our cases up and down the kerbs at each intersection. The hotel is well located and there are a few good restaurants and bars close by with the main square only being a five minute walk away. We would have liked another night or so to enjoy the grounds and chill out but this was not possible due to our tight schedule! Breakfast was served in lovely breakfast room and scrambled eggs were available to order along with the normal array of cheese, ham, breads, etc. I would happily stay here again.

After a heavy travel schedule around Argentina, San Antonia de Areco and the Hotel Draghi were a breath of fresh air. Nothing exciting about either but a great place to relax in a traditional Argentinian town.||||The hotel is closer to a B&B than a chain hotel. Each room is beautifully decorated, the small garden is tranquil and the staff could not be more helpful. I very rarely write these reviews, this hotel and the people who run it are worthy of my time.||||We came into the town by bus, be warned no taxis at the bus station. The station is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel but know the route before you arrive. We did not and could not get google maps to work! Pigeon Spanish worked eventually.||||Sent from my iPhone
