Hotel Drei Könige

This hotel is in a perfect location for supermarket, sightseeing etc. The ladies on the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size for a short stay, having all the essentials (would be better to have real cups for hot drinks - not the paper cups supplied). The chairs were a bit uncomfortable. We loved the shower cubicle - clean, great size (need more water pressure though). The pillows are flat and useless - need more inner or even 2 pillows instead. Liked that we had a fan instead of air con. Thanks for a lovely stay, despite the negative comments i made.

The hotel is close to the Chur Rail station. It is an older hotel on a side street, but is|in good condition. Good breakfast, nice room, and the fixtures worked well in our|room. Beds were comfortable. Very respectful hotel staff. The reception area is one floor up from the ground floor, then, there is an elevator to the rooms. The town is small and easy to see if you have time. There is a Chur tourist card for free transportation and super discounts for all the sights to see. You can get it at the hotel. Chur is also within an hour of the famous Filisur /Landwasser/rail viaduct. The Curved one in all the Swiss tourist guides. Enjoy Chur and stay at this hotel.

One night stay prior to catching the Bernina Express. |The hotel itself was very well located for the station. Check in straight forward and friendly. The room was spacious and clean, with a mini fridge and complimentary water. No noise from other guests.|We didn’t use the restaurant or bar (if there is one!) so couldn’t comment. |Only gripe is that the lift was tiny but it’s an old building and it didn’t impact our stay.|Would stay here again but not for more than a night.

We only stayed at this hotel to catch the Bernina Express early next morning. Be aware: there are no elevators from the entrance to the reception. Two flights of stairs to to carry luggage to the main reception area. Then there is an elevator that fit one person. Room: We stayed at Room 5 (Historical Room). Oh what a disappointment! Think about a dated room with a window facing dirty walls and windows. Super overpriced for what you get. The paneled walls are very old. I wonder whether there are mice... No air conditioning, in case you get hot in the summer. I wouldn't leave the window open at night. The bathroom is from 1900. Dated and small. Location: the only good thing. Easy 5-7 min walk to the main train station. The reason we booked.

Pleasant stay. Room arranged on fourth floor with lift. Though maintenance is in progress on the same floor, it was acceptable during the stay. Guessing the room was just furnished recently, everything inside the room is clean and tidy. The location is in high accessibility with 10-minute walking distance. There are some stairs before you get to the reception(lift are not available for that)

Perfect for a short stay. Newly renovated room on fourth floor, very nice done. Renovation in corridor was not ready but no problem. Did not use the restaurant.

Unsure why this hotel is not rated more highly. My wife and I had an amazing stay here during our honeymoon! They accommodated our early check in request and the room we stayed in had a spectacular view. Check-in and check-out was an easy process. Location is fantastic, close to the train station. Not much more you can ask for if you’re staying here for a night before or after the Bernina Express!

Very old hotel in central of town. Staff were nice. Breakfast was ok, only small amount of food out on display. Our wing had been updated and was decorated in a modern way. I didn’t like having the sink in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. Corridors to our room had floor protector taped down and exposed wires on the ceiling. It felt unfinished and I wouldn’t have any guest stay until renovations were completed.

First of, you have to climb 100 steps to get to reception with no elevator, elevator was not working properly, even though I fully paid my reservation through Chase travel months in advance they were trying to fully charge me again (twice). After I showed and emailed them the confirmación number and receipt of payment they gave me the key and I stayed one night with no issues but the second morning they harassed me saying I needed to pay because again- the reservaction indeed was canceled and they didn't receive payment, until my bank solved the issue. I came with my grandma and it was embarrassing, messed up my hole trip (all 3 days) of my stay in Switzerland. Will not come back to this rude hotel and staff. (also not as the pictures show, hotel looks old (the bad kind) hallways are under renovation) tienes que subir 100 escalones con todo y maletas, el elevador está en el 2,3 piso, además de haber pagado la estadía completa desde hace meses me querían volver a cobrar otra ves el precio completo diciendo que mi reservación había sido cancelada y que tenía que pagar, me pidieron que les enseñara y mandara por email la confirmación y recibo de pago y lo hice en ese mismo momento, me entregaron llave y dormí la primera noche, a la mañana siguiente me avisaron diciendo otra ves lo mismo que tenía que pagar y que la reservación estaba cancelada, tuve que contactar a Chase travel mi banco que resolviera el problema pero nos mal pasamos y no disfrutamos los 3 días de estadía por estar estresadas por esto, vine con mi abuelita y fue una vergüenza y frustración enorme lo que me hicieron pasar. el hotel no se ve como en las fotos, es viejo (del tipo feo y descuidado) los pasillos están con plástico y poca iluminación y el elevador no funciona. - el cuarto estaba bien pero arruinaron mi estadía y no me quedaría aquí jamás.
