Hotel Drei Raben Nürnberg

From the moment we walked in the door we were in love with this place. Every single staff member was extremely helpful, courteous and accommodating. From Check in, being greeted with warm Gluhwein at their front booth after our visit to the Christmas Markets or enjoying a drink in the lobby. We upgraded to the funnel room and it did not disappoint. We had an amazing view of the holiday hustle and bustle outside our window! Breakfast was buffet style with many delicious options. Any request was met with a smile. The decor was whimsical and creative. The Christmas decor was so pretty and they had very soft Christmas music playing which added to the charm. The attention to detail was obvious and the hotel was extremely immaculate as well. Location was minutes to the train station and the Christmas Markets, historical sights and amazing restaurants. We will always recommend Hotel Drei Raben to anyone visiting Nuremberg. Without hesitation we would stay here again if we return to Nuremberg!

A bunch of pluses for this hotel, but also a few minuses. Employees are over the top helpful and kind. Breakfast is excellent with choices to suit everyone. Location is super convenient, but you pay the price for the convenience by not being able to open a window for fresh air. I found the room stuffy without opening a window, but opening it brought in street noise that lasted until the wee hours of the AM. Another minus is the shower water pressure. I barely had enough to get wet. But, the room is cute, clean and clever, staff is incredibly helpful, so it was a mostly pleasant stay.

Absolutely superb. Each room is unique, the breakfast is very good but what makes this hotel special are the staff. The most friendly and helpful I have experienced at any hotel, anywhere. If you are going to Nuremburg then I suggest this should be your first choice. If you are travelling by train this is ideally placed for the station - a five minute stroll at most.

I stayed here for three nights over the summer and could not have been more delighted. From the moment I arrived, I felt so looked after, from the amazing room they put me in (The Three Ravens, at the very top of the hotel), to the restaurants they suggested and personally facilitated reservations for, to the welcome glass of wine they offered, and the pleasant conversations throughout my stay. The room was very clean and unlike anything I've ever stayed in, with dormer windows that offered great views of the city, high ceilings and beautiful wood beams, even a clawfoot tub. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel - everything was delicious, the variety was outstanding, and the presentation top-notch with many items served in adorable glass jars. It was clear that many guests were return visitors, which is what I hope to be one day!

The hotel is fantastic! Modern and comfortable. The staff have excellent customer service skills. The highlights are the rooms, quiet, spacious, comfortable bed and great shower! The breakfast was superb too. I like the free drink between 6pm and 8pm. In Nuremberg I will only stay at the Drei Raben. Excellent hotel. Stay here with confidence!

The hotel was perfectly located between the train station and the old town center. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The chocolates and glass of wine/beer upon arrival was very much appreciated. Martin and his colleagues were great guides in terms of providing information. I would recommend the hotel highly.

What a fantastic boutique hotel located in a perfect location in historic Nuremburg. We could not have asked for a better experience; from the incredibly friendly and helpful hotel staff (a big shout-out and thank you to Markus), the exquisite detailing and thoughtful layout throughout the hotel, an excellent breakfast buffet and a really welcoming, complementary evening drink while relaxing on the patio each evening before heading to dinner. This is one of our very best hotel experiences from our many years of travel to Europe. Just wonderful!!

This is a small wonderful place to stay. The owners are there and make you feel special. Each room has a theme and all are great. The evening happy hour and breakfast are worth the visit.

This place will set the tone for your Nürnberg trip. Ralph doesn't just run a hotel. He runs an experience that will help you get a excellent night's sleep and help you navigate the gorgeous Altstadt. The nightly wine tastings are fun and kid-friendly too! You need restaurant recommendations? Ask at the front desk and you will get concierge service on par with the best international hotels. You need advice about the city and where to go? They can help you with that too. These folks love their city and have strong local pride. And they are happy to share that love with visitors. I left Nürnberg thinking, "I could live and work in this city if most folks here are this friendly and progressive if I still lived in the EU" and part of that feeling was Ralph and his staff's hospitality. Breakfast is so tasty and fun. A great way to start the day and the coffee is among the best I had in Germany on my trip (as a coffee-snob and caffeine addict this was HUGE plus!). It costs a bit more per night than a lot of other places but the unique decor and the service is so good it's totally worth it. Throw in a satisfying breakfast and you've got the experience of a lifetime. This was my favorite hotel on my entire 2 week Germany/Austria Winter holiday. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Fantastic little hotel a 5 minute walk from the train station. Upon arrival they showed us to our room and upon realizing the room would be to small when our daughter joined us in a few days they offered a 2nd room at a very reasonable rate. Fantastic fresh breakfast in the morning. An arrangement of breads, fruits, and eggs/ omelette upon request. Hotel is right in the heart of everything and the staff is incredibly friendly.

One of the coolest hotels, ever (in my humble opinion). It's located right in the center of the city, the rooms are large & super clean, the bathrooms are modern, the beds, pillows and bathrobes are very comfy! It is a very old building which has been remodeled with great care and attention to detail, it's historic and modern all at once. I loved the heated floors in the bathroom and the old-fashioned stand-alone bath in the room. Every room apparently has a fairytale theme based on local myths and legends, and even has a storybook you can read. They give you welcome cookies (ours were on a trey on the bed). While sitting at the bar downstairs (make sure to try the local wine and spirits), we met the owner, Ralf, who told us about the history of this hotel. Daniel at front desk was super helpful, even when I forgot my coat in the car. Complimentary breakfast was nice too. Can't wait to return, I just fell in love with Drei Raben (means 3 ravens, by the way). Staying here made our second trip to Nurnberg very special.

I've stayed here twice so far and loved it every time! The decor and atmosphere in the lobby and bar are wonderful, very modern and welcoming, the rooms are clean and very cute. Each one has a local legend written on a wall and the room is decorated in that theme. The breakfast they offer in the mornings is excellent as well. I loved their customer service, they were very friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a modern experience with lots of local flavor!

Really nice hotel right in the Altstadt. Can't say enough positive - probably our best hotel experience in years. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and seemed more like they all could be some cool people you struck up a great conversation with. Ralph in particular was great in introducing us to the hotel and the town, making recommendations for dinner, and overall being a good guy. Room was good sized with nice modern bathroom. Overall decor was well-done and a bit funky. A really fun place to stay!

We found this hotel right on Königstraße near the main train station. Reasonable rates for nice and contemporary double and single rooms. Wonderful customer service and fluent in several languages, including English. The booking included a complimentary drink at the bar, which was staffed by a trained bartender, and breakfast was included. The staff was knowledgeable of the Nürnberg area and were able to make several good recommendations for restaurants and bars. The room was very clean, well decorated and inviting, and had an air conditioning unit - great for the warm summer day. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and will be staying here again next time I am in Nürnberg.

The Drei Raban is a delightful hotel and I would stay there again given the chance. The rooms, management, staff, breakfasts, and the location are wonderful. Very good for a five night stay. Nuremburg itself offers a wonderful small town feel and great proximity to all parts of Northern Bavaria.

What a gem of a place in a gem of a city! The service is impeccable -- friendly, prompt. The food at breakfast hits the spot and gets you ready to wander around the old parts of the city. After that, a glass of wine or a more serious cocktail awaits in the bar.
