Missed my Eurostar to London, got this hotel from Google maps, near to Gare de Nord. Do NOT pay for breakfast it doesn't happen 🤣. All i can say is it's a huge bit grim. But it looks a tad better in daylight..

If you are going to Paris with couple better stay in safe hotels, this hotel is not recommended. I totally had bad experience there. Plz go to better hotels which is safe and you feel good and pleasant. This hotel is so narrow hotel with small lift and small room that's okay but i dont feel it's safe, your near room guy may shout a lot or scream. Which you feel very unsafe.

Good location and nice staff , but quite rundown and only maintained to the bare minimum. If you get a room without something broken, you are extremely lucky.

This would be one of the worst places I ever stayed at. First they give you a written quote, then when you come to stay, they charge you more with no hope of paying what you were quoted as it is covered by bank security. I have tried, but they ignore my requests. Second, the room is crap, the light near the bed has a mind of its own, it goes on and off as it pleases. The bathroom has a broken towel rack, no plug in the basin, no floor mat when you get out of the shower, the shower head sits on the taps as the bracket to hold it is broken, no face washer available. The lift is halfway between 2 floors, you have to climb up from the ground floor to get to it. To get to your room, you either climb half a floor, or walk down half a floor. WEIRD. Breakfast is cheap, and I mean cheap. 5.50 euros per person, the choice of jam is orange marmalade or orange marmalade. There was honey, just enough for one slice of bread, had to wait for somebody to go to the shop to get more. Coffee was OK as long as you like it black, there was some floaty in the milk. I don't think a hot breakfast was available, i did not inquire. If there was something good in this place, I don't know what it is, I never found it. By the way I still have no reply or refund for the extra charge as of today. Paris is the most beautiful place in the world, host of the 2024 Olympics, I really feel for the people who will stay in this place not knowing what they will be up against. I do hope after reading this that you will give this place a MISS. I have posted my findings of this place to the "Paris Office of Tourism"

Give this place a miss, here is why.|The reception and breakfast areas look good, that is about it. I was quoted 81.26 euros for the room, 2 breakfasts and local taxes. On arrival I had to pay 85.50euros, even with the quote in writing I still had to pay the higher price. I could not walk out as the quoted amount was secured by the bank, and it would have ended up costing me more.|The hotel has a lift, but you have to climb halfway to the 1st floor to get to it. It only stops in between floors. In other words, you either have to climb up to your floor or go down steps to get to your room when you use it. Weird!!!!!!!!!|The room decoration is terrible and it looks like maintenance is done by a 5 year old.|The bedroom light near the bed has a mind of its own. It goes on and off as it pleases.|The bathroom has a broken towel rack, there is no plug for the basin, no floor mat for when you get out of the shower, no face washer, the shower has no bracket to hold the shower head as it broken.|Breakfast. It is cheap, 5.50 euros per person. The choice of jam is orange marmalade or orange marmalade. There was some honey, but just enough for one slice of bread. Had to wait for somebody to go to the shop to get more. Coffee was ok as long as you have it black. The milk had a little floaty in it. As far as I know, you could not get anything cooked.|If there was anything good about this place, I do not know what it is. I never found it.|By the way, I have tried to get the extra money charged refunded, to no avail.

For the price paid I was satisfied. The family that runs the hotel were very nice and work hard to keep the property clean. There is a market within a one minute walk and the Paris North Station (Gare Du Nord) is just a few minutes away on foot. The shower worked very well, strong. ||An area of improvement would be to add a portable air conditioner.

Our Sons band was playing at Le Truskell Bar in the city. We were only there for one night so we wanted something cheap and cheerful and near the club. |I don’t normally read the reviews on sites such as this. In this case, I wish I had. |The hotel was in a shocking state. The rooms were claustrophobic, the bathroom was tiny and in our other sons rooms there were ants in the bathroom. |It is without doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is dated tired and in need of a complete refit. At £90 per room I wasn’t expecting the ritz but I didn’t expect it to be falling down either. |As you will see, the photo’s don’t lie. Our friend just simply walked out to find another hotel. |I can’t understand how somewhere like this makes it on to Expedia, Hotel. com etc. I can’t blame the staff, the owners are responsible to keep it up to standard. They have failed miserably with this hotel

I stayed here for a few days for the Olympics as a cheap base to sleep and shower and it was fine||It’s One Star, so you don’t have to look far for problems, but it suited my purpose ||At reception I was offered a room on the top (6th) floor or lower down, and I was advised the lift doesn’t go past floor 4 ||I took the top floor option ||If you’ve got mobility issues I wouldn’t stay here as the lift is tiny and the stairs and corridors narrow ||My room had a comfortable double bed, small balcony, clean shower and toilet, clean towels, a fan, and a TV||It was very hot in August but a combination of leaving the balcony doors open and the fan on constantly made it bearable to sleep ||Shower was hot and pressure fine||There was a terrible smell in the bathroom for most of my stay and there appear to be some plumbing issues, but leaving the bathroom door closed meant this didn’t impact the rest of the room||The hotel is close to shops, the train station and the metro and despite the obvious flaws was adequate if you just want somewhere to rest and shower

Yelp
The location and workers are the best thing about this property. For the price paid I was satisfied. It is a short 3 or 4 minute walk to the North Station (Gare Du Nord). The family that operates the hotel were very friendly and worked hard to keep the property clean. An area of improvement would be to install portable air conditioning units in the summer. On the plus side the shower was very strong.

Yelp
Pro: Room size okay, hotel staff okay. Con: my dad was charged for a full breakfast even though all he had was coffee. The water was too hot and the facet could get hot to the touch. The sheets had stuff. The pillow case was brownish. The pillows were flat. I've stayed at other hotels in the same price range, and this was our least favorite experience. There is a lot of room for improvement, if they choose to improve. Long rambling story: Didn't have the breakfast, though my dad had one cup of coffee and he was charged the full 5€. The room was large and there was a small sitting area. There was no A/C. Hotel room was sort of hard to open, maybe due to new paint? Which was okay but.... When I opened the sheets there were lite black things like lint balls in them. I've never had that, not in the Philippines and not even at Motel 8. I know they can't hurt me, but it's disconcerting when you slip into the sheets and you can feel stuff against your bare legs :( Then, the bathroom. I didn't like how the curtains touch the toilet bowl. It just bugs me. My dad used the shower first. He warned my mom the water gets hot. Then she used it and she found out touching the metal faucet can be very hot. And she warned me, and I still got burned by the water and the faucet, and to avoid the hot water I tried to jump out the shower which I forgot was raised and nearly tripped! That bathroom was a major hazard. And the shower looks big but needs to be feng shui-ed because the facet stuck out - a lot of space couldn't be utilized. And you can't touch it or you get burned. And it takes 20 seconds for the water to adjust so when you think the water has adjusted, it really hasn't. Hence the burning hot water. No one needs to take a shower that hot anyway.

Yelp
First of all let me start by mentioning that this is a fairly inexpensive hotel and should be treated as such. That being said, it is (for that price) a god hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are small but clean and although not at all fancy, is located at walking distance from Gare l'Est (east station) and is a short walk from a lot of clubs and night life scene. Just note that it's better to take a non-street view room since at night heavy trucks might wake you up or disturb you. Other than that, nothing much is there to tell! You pay the fairly small sum (at about 30 Euros/night, very few hotels in Paris offer lower rates) and get a small but comfortable and clean room, you sleep, wake up take a shower in a SMALL bathroom (which is why I gave it a four star rating instead of five - again for THAT price!) and leave to do your business! No slack and nothing fancy! Just a comfortable bed (and breakfast sometime not included BTW, check for that!) to sleep in!

Yelp
Small little rooms that taste like tobacco. Honestly a bit grimy of a place with stained sheets and moldy bathrooms, but it's cheap. I would only recommend to a total budgeter or backpacker.
