Clean room and sheets, comfortable bed and pillows. Heating by cast iron heater. No A/C but none needed in Dec. Shower was hot with good flow strength. Bathroom was small and I walked sideways to fit between sink and wall to reach toilet. |There are rooms on the ground floor (no stairs). Rooms on the first floor required climbing 21 steps. So double that for second floor. This is a small hotel so no elevator. There are no porters to help with luggage. As a senior travelling alone, I had no help and I was only able to lift my one suitcase a step at a time. Hotel desk staff was aware and there was no offer to help. |There is a steep uphill climb on cobblestone to reach the hotel. | This hotel is well located in the old town and near a Christmas Market, many shops and restaurants.|Good internet. |Breakfast (€11) was continental with tea, coffee, juice, yogurt, cereal, croissants, bread, cheese, meat, fruit.

This hotel is charming and only a three-minute walk to the gorgeous centre of Annecy. The hosts are wonderful, breakfast is delicious, and the view from our room was stunning day and night. |The room has everything you need with a comfortable bed and lots of hot water.

I loved this hotel. The room was small, and it did not have air conditioning. But the bed was extremely comfy! The staff was also very lovely and helpful. ||The hotel also has a small patio terrace that overlooks Annecy - it's a great spot to eat a snack or read a book.

This was a surprise for us, we weren’t sure what to expect as we wound our way through Annecy. Get to pull up in front of the castle and enter the pedestrian area, you have to push the call button on n front of the barricade posts. Then you drive past the castle and down a little hill to the hotel parking lot. The hotel was clean and had amazing views of old Annecy and the castle, there is even a patio to sit on and watch the sunset over the city while drinking wine…The room was spacious, we had three beds, plenty for our family of four and we took full advantage of having the windows open, facing the castle and the fans provided in the room. It was a hot day. Service was good and the 11 euro breakfast was too. Definitely recommend!

Loved it. You have a little hike up the hill to get to the hotel (we found out when we walked the 1/2 mile from the train station) but, when you arrive, it’s a view you’ll never forget. Fantastic place. Clean. Nice breakfast (cereal, bread, croissants, cheese, meat, etc). Excellent hosts. Even the cat and dog were super friendly 🤣||Walk everywhere in Annecy! The food is excellent and the breathtaking views are endless. Take a day trip to Geneva while you’re visiting. Bus ride (50 mins) was about 25€ for 2 (round trip). Bring extra CC’s and cash though 😀||Anyway, I seem to have missed my train while writing this review so it looks like I have to stay another year or 2 🤣||Yeah, it’s that nice!

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the town and parks but be aware it is quite a steep walk down to these places so therefore what goes down must come up so slow and steady wins the race. Lots of restaurants close by and lucky enough to there on Market day.

Warm welcome in a quiet but convenient location. The room was spotless on arrival and plenty of towels were provided. The beds were very comfortable and the room was warm despite it being chilly outside. The ensuite had no extractor fan and got quite damp after showers. Some noise from other rooms at times. We didn't try breakfast.

We stayed for 3 nights in a room overlooking the Chateau, lake and mountains. Loved everything about this hotel! Staff are friendly and helpful. It's spotlessly clean. Comfortable and well-equipped, but not fancy. Breakfast buffet is a delicious bargain. Outside patio area is delightful. Location is fantastic tho the hill and stairs would be a factor for some people. We loved this place!
