This is probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in in France. The staff are very friendly and amazingly attentive the rooms are beautifully decorated. Each room appears to be unique. The car parking is very secure, the breakfast was superb and very good value for €18 would highly recommended. The only improvement I could suggest is if the bar could serve draft beer.

A wonderful hotel with very pleasant rooms and beautiful design. We especially enjoyed the spacious bathrooms, perfect for two. The breakfast was excellent, with a stunning view of the fortress. Convenient parking is available, and the staff were exceptionally polite and welcoming. Everything was very comfortable and well thought out.

Great hotel with a fantastic location just outside one of the entrances to Carcassonne. Quiet despite being so close. You can drive right to the hotel and park which you cannot do if you stay in the city. Definitely recommend if you visit.

Wow, what a location. We arrived earlier than expected and before official check in time. Room was not ready but hosts welcomed us and did everything to get the room ready for us as soon as possible. Extremely friendly hosts and staff. Breakfast outside on the terrace looking out onto the walled city was a high light of our cycling tour. The breakfast had everything you could ask for and made for an excellent start to our cycling day. Highly recommend this hotel.

We ate at the restaurant and our server Lou was amazing! We loved her so much we came back and asked for her 3 more times. Her English is outstanding and her service is even better. She's so thoughtful and considerate I would give her ten stars if I could. Go and ask for her you won't be disappointed 😁.

Perfectly located. A lovely family run hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. We really enjoyed our three nights here and would highly recommend it. Great views of the city and countryside. Good breakfasts! Disabled friendly.

Worth noting there is NO luggage storage at the hotel. This means that if you arrive before your room is ready, you have to awkwardly leave your luggage in everyone’s view in the lobby which stressed me out! There’s not really a corner you can leave it in either, you just leave it in the middle and it’s honor system I guess. Plan accordingly. For dining, the service was very, very slow and many things were forgotten, however the concierge/reception was alright. Room was dim downstairs, but there were windows you could open. The good: the location is excellent. You can walk in and out of the city with ease, and the views from the dining area are gorgeous. Pool access is good + enjoyed it!

Yelp
Before writing this review I sent an email directly to the hotel, in hopes that I could offer them some private feedback & spare them my review. It's been 10 days and I still haven't heard a peep. In short, I will never stay at this hotel again. It's over priced for its (un)cleanliness & an over done attempt at modernizing their (what could have been) quaint "luxury" hotel. I really don't have a lot of faith that they'll care what I write. If you also check out their Trip Advisor reviews you can see a lot of extremely defensive & downright snotty responses by the owners or management. Some might say this is the "French way..." so...et voila! If you like to be accosted by horribly repetitive dance / techno, or American remix songs you'll be right at home at this place - because it fills their lobby and the outside dining area (you cannot avoid it when getting to your room). It's not relaxing. Not to mention the SMELL. When you walk into the lobby you'll be smothered in perfume that may make you get a headache. I didn't find their hotel to personify any of the images they create on their website - it's not relaxing, not friendly, not inviting, and not family friendly. It's also dirty and their employees are less than helpful. When I tried asking one staff member whether the outdoor hotel jacuzzi is ever heated (because it was FRIGID when I used it) I was met with "je ne sais pas" ("I don't know") more than once. The heat pump in our room, which also serves as an ac unit, was disgustingly dirty and unsanitary. The thing was teeming with dirt and mold on the inside. There were spots of old dried blood immediately visible on the bedspread when we walked into the room (I was too nice & TIRED to say anything). There is ABSOLUTELY no privacy in the bathroom, which has very low windows (about groin high). When you go into the toilet / shower area you are literally standing naked in front of the window that doesn't have any drapes. The shower head it extremely large and it's a rain shower head so you literally feel as though you're drowning in the shower - there's no escaping the water to take a breath. The tub didn't hold a fill. The room had a loud hum in it even when all of the electrical was killed. There are no screens (which I understand is common) but that means you'll literally be eaten alive by these Tiger Mosquitoes if you're attractive to them (look them up, it's real!) Before we arrived, even though I had booked a spa soak months in advance, nobody bothered to email me that half of my spa soak would be dysfunctional - with no access to the steam or sauna. When I arrived, still, nobody told me. Then at my appointment they tried to charge me the normal price & I had to negotiate a discount !!

Yelp
This is an absolutely lovely boutique hotel that is literally next to the castle. I stay in a lot of high end hotels and homely that do not feel new or have a decide that is decorated min the fast few centuries. This hotel however is absolutely lovely. The staff are polite and friendly. The rooms and beds are exceedingly nice. The breakfast was excellent and I love the two dogs that lay around looking for attention.
