We stayed here for four nights in September 2025 in a deluxe suite. There was a mix of great and not-so-great aspects to our stay, particularly considering the not inconsiderable price. It can be difficult to find a quality hotel with true two-room suites able to sleep two adults and a teenager in Paris; this hotel was one of a relatively small number of options.||When we arrived, we immediately noted the attractive lobby, with a real hustle and bustle of people. There were multiple staff on duty at the desk, so we didn't have to wait to check in at all, and we were able to check in two hours early. The check-in process was a breeze, and all my questions were helpfully answered; a perfect welcome. However, when we arrived at our room, there was a very strong and pervasive odor, which I assumed was from a cleaning agent (reminded me of toilet bowl cleaner). Also, the couch in the seating area looked as if a cat had clawed it. We immediately asked for a different room. Kudos to the front-desk staff, as they immediately found us another room that had no unusual smell and a presentable couch. However, the television in the new room had a very cracked screen. Not a big issue because we never watched TV during our visit, but it should be working. The bathroom door in the bedroom made the most godawful squealing sound, like our room was haunted. The hotel spa was closed for renovation, so that was not an option to use. The building outside our windows, unconnected to the hotel, was in the process of being renovated as well, and we were woken up a few mornings by construction noise. The hallway reeked of fresh cigarette smoke day and night, but fortunately, our room did not. I understood the hotel to be a non-smoking property, but that was most certainly not the case on our floor. On the plus side, the suite and bathrooms were spotless and comfortable. The bed was excellent. There was more than ample storage space, an in-room safe, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and toiletries in the bathroom. Maid service was excellent each day. We had laundry done and it was perfect. The staff really were great throughout the hotel. The hotel's neighborhood was beautiful. The metro is not as convenient as one might hope. We took a lot of taxis.||We ate breakfast at the hotel one morning out of three. The dining room was attractive and the staff pleasant, but the food was not special, especially for Paris and considering the price. We also ate at the hotel bar one night. The food at the bar was much better, though the menu was very limited. ||Overall, the stay was fine, but it cannot be described as a luxury experience. Some of the issues we encountered, such as neighboring construction, could not be controlled by the hotel, of course. Nevertheless, I would be inclined to stay elsewhere on our next visit to Paris.
