Where to Stay in Quebec City When You Visit (Updated 2025)

"I found this hotel is made up of spacious loft apartments, making it great for groups (some apartments have five beds and can fit up to eight people). With contactless check-in and passcode entry it feels akin to staying at an Airbnb; the lofts have a minimalist design and feature rain showers with excellent pressure, desks, soft beds, coffee makers, and flat-screen TVs." - Matthew Kepnes

The 5 Best Hotels in Quebec City (Updated 2025)

"Composed of spacious loft apartments, this three-star property is a great choice for groups or families (or anyone wanting more space) and feels a bit like staying in an Airbnb with contactless check-in and passcode entry. The lofts feature a minimalist design with light tones, wooden accents, and huge grayscale animal portraits; the bright tiled bathrooms have rain showers with excellent pressure, and rooms include desks, soft beds, coffee makers, and flatscreen TVs. There’s no breakfast available, but Saint Roch — the neighborhood it’s in — has lots of places within walking distance and is one of the best areas of the city for foodies. Overall it’s a simple but comfortable choice, especially ideal for longer stays if you want a trendier, more local feel than the Old Town." - Matthew Kepnes

Small cozy room with flexible check in time. I arrived at the hotel later than the checkin time because of transit, so I called them beforehand to notify and they did accept late checkin after 11pm. The location is easy to access, since it's close to a bus stop. The hotel offers online checkin and it's a smooth and easy process. There is also a separate secured room by the reception desk for luggage storage.

Easy check-in online and entry into the building. Room was clean with all necessary amenities. Mattresses would benefit from a cover since they use flat sheets which move during the night and you end up directly on the mattress.

The hotel is located in the city center, about a 20-minute walk from the Old Town, which is the main tourist area. Just a heads-up for anyone with mobility issues — the route to the touristic area is partially steep and Uphill, so it can be a bit challenging. Taking an Uber/Taxi is a good alternative, as driving isn’t ideal due to limited parking in that area The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, but there are public parking lots nearby, which is convenient. The property itself is small and doesn’t offer any amenities, but my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed sheets had an unpleasant damp odor — not dirty, but noticeable. Overall, I was happy with my stay and found it ok value for its location.

Google
The hotel is in a good location and the luggage deposit also good especially for tourists. But the hotel and the service doesn't reflect a 4 star rating. There was a hairband on my bed which shows the bedsheets were not changed since the last customer. The hotel is overpriced for what it offers.

Perfect place, beautiful room, spotless clean, great location for buses, but easy to walk from la gare du palais too and they offer a good deal breakfast just across the street. The luggage deposit was very helpful, thanks a bunch! Recommend.

The rooms are small, so that's not a problem, but the toilet seat was broken. They don't clean the room, so with the snow it's difficult to keep it clean, and therefore they don't take away the trash. The electrical outlets don't work.

no kettle provided. all wall socket located close to the ground, so charging are all on the floor, including making coffee. request for room to be clean by placing a A4 size card on top of room number, nothing done. no tea spoon provided but tea bag provided.

Shower needs soap holder, towel holder. Shampoo and soap hidden under sink is not good. Coffee maker needs to be plugged in. Needs a couple of power outlets higher up on the wall.
