We stayed here for nine days in October and were really happy with our choice. Fantastic central location on the island. The lobby features art and modernist furniture set in the old royal tennis court. The old beams are still visible in the breakfast room. Our superior double room was more spacious than we expected, but the paint was a little worn in places. Value is a relative concept in Paris, so while the Jeu de Paume is not inexpensive, it appears to be good value given it's location and amenities. Our room was off the main street and was very quite. The continental breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices. The staff throughout the hotel were helpful and friendly. Before we arrived the hotel arranged airport pick-up and drop-off for us and this added positively to our overall experience.

Lovely old hotel in a perfectly quiet and yet ridiculously central location. We stayed four nights in Superior Double Room 3 right off the breakfast room. Room really needs some attention, some details do not match the four star rating: water damage in the shower area, non-working makeup mirror, no shelves in shelving unit (see photos), instant coffee packets instead of the ubiquitous Nespresso machine. No mini-fridge and the in-room book says outside alcohol is absolutely not allowed... Still, plenty of hot water, a nice breakfast, and gracious staff that helped us with dinner reservations made this a fine stay.

Staying at Hotel Jeu de Paume was one of the highlights of my time in Paris. The moment I walked in, I felt like I had discovered a hidden treasure. The hotel’s blend of history and modern comfort is perfection: exposed beams, elegant design, and rooms that feel quite luxurious.||The staff couldn’t be kinder or more attentive. Every person I met made me feel genuinely welcome, and their attention to detail was exceptional - Including walking me to the ATM I had missed on my walk about the neighborhood. (Not to mention they also have a very friendly dog running about the place.)||The location is unbeatable: tucked away on Île Saint-Louis, just steps from Notre-Dame. It is blissfully quiet at night, and rare to find such tranquil place in the heart of Paris.||I highly recommend this jewel!

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Paris. We like to stay in quieter areas. With this boutique hotel we were close to the attractions but at night we came back to the island and enjoyed the quiet charm of old Paris. There are several restaurants with outdoor seating and every night there were musicians performing on the bridge. The entire staff was welcoming and kind. They recommended several local restaurants on the island and they were equally welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway

The staff and the hotel are great. The staff was very helpful with recommendations, transportation questions, and overall questions about the city. We were leaving Paris the day of a transportation strike and the staff was so helpful in guiding us away from areas that may be affected. The hotel is located in a nice area on a quiet street. Walking distance to Notre Dame and many restaurants. It is a little bit of a walk to the nearest Metro line, but that is a minor inconvenience. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend to anyone visiting Paris!

Very helpful staff and charming building. The bathtub/shower was precarious for older individuals. There was no bathtub mat and the tub was slippery and dangerous to get in and out of. I mentioned this to the front desk and was told I should have called the desk. Not reasonable when unclothed and ready for a shower. In-tub mats should be cleaned after each guest and returned to the room and left in the shower area. A law suit waiting to happen. Otherwise, a very pleasant place to stay.

We needed something to accommodate a family of five and found a fantastic three bedroom apartment with kitchen and two bathrooms for a very reasonable price. Hotel staff was very friendly in the location was amazing. The apartment does not have air conditioning, but they did provide fans upon request And it generally gets cool in the evenings during the summer. We would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again during our next stay in Paris.

Google
A quiet small boutique hotel in the middle of Isle Saint Louis. Easy to get to. Not much open at night on the Isle but very close to the right and left banks for late night dining. Lovely staff, good breakfast and a cute puppy named Artic to greet you. Rooms are a mix of new and older decor, bathrooms a bit dated and one was very small, but clean. We had the 2 level suite. We came for the history and we got exactly that. Very happy with our stay.

Yelp
There is very little to complain about with this hotel, and when I mean little, I mean very little. The staff is incredible, the breakfast is stunning, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is perfect, literally just around the corner from the Notre Dame cathedral. But I can complain about one thing, but I'm going to save that for the last. The first thing I want to compliment is the staff. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. We left LAX at 2:30 pm and arrived in Paris at 9:30 am. Being unable to sleep on the plane, you can imagine how tired we were when we arrived at the hotel. Our room wasn't ready, of course, but they were so generous to hold our luggage and they gave us plenty of ideas close by to pass our time until the room was ready for us. They even offered us a cappuccino. I can't say enough about the staff. I typically don't eat breakfast buffets. I get all germ weird seeing all those hands near the food and people breathing and coughing all over everything. But I loved this one. First of all, we were there just as they were bringing out the food, so that helped. But the food was incredible. They had easily the best baguettes that I have ever eaten in my life. The meats and cheeses were of high quality. I was in heaven. My wife was as well with the amazing croissants, and the creamy scrambled eggs sent me to another world. It was a great, calm, relaxing start to the day each day we stayed. The location was amazing. It was close to a lot, and what we couldn't (or didn't want to) walk to, there is a river taxi called Batobus that you can get on near the Notre Dame and take the Seine all over the city to the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees, the Louvre, etc. It was a great resource less than a five-minute walk from the hotel. There is one issue though, but it really isn't the hotel's fault, which is why I am not taking any stars away. It was HOT in Paris and our hotel room was on two floors. The small room air conditioner was on the second floor, and it didn't ever really cool down the upstairs, let alone the downstairs. The little fan downstairs just didn't suffice, and the ceiling fan upstairs didn't work. It made the room miserable. But again, that's Europe for you. Overall, it's an amazing, cheerful hotel. Just go in December.

Yelp
We ended up having to transfer to this hotel after an unfortunate lack of organization at our previous hotel led to them not having a room for us. After being all upset that we had to move hotels in the middle of the day we ended up loving this place. Here's my review. Rooms: Very comfortable, large with incredibly comfortable beds, tons of charm and the most comfortable beds in Paris. Service: A+. They are helpful, genuinely nice and go out of their way to help you. Still, they don't have the creepy, follow you around vibe that you get in high end hotels. It's kind of as if you are staying in their home and they are so happy to have you. Lounge: They have eclectic art, tons of books and play opera over the radio at a level loud enough to hear but not loud enough to interfere with conversation. I could spend an afternoon curled up here reading and chatting. They also have a glass elevator and those who know me, know I love those things. Location: Very centrally located. Since it's on the Isle you do get a ton of tourist junk nearby. Thankfully it's a bit further down the street so it's not in the worse of it. Street noise is not a big deal for us but if it is for you, get a room overlooking their patio. It's a fabulous location if you are new to Paris or only here for a few days. Overall, this is the hotel I recommend to all my friends who are going to Paris for the first time or just a few days and don't want to rent an apartment (the best way to stay in Paris). It has a soul and romance to it, which is the whole reason I come to Paris.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel, right in the middle of Isle Saint-Louis. The accommodations were great, very clean, modern bathroom. The staff was so nice, with good recommendations for restaurants, and help getting a taxi. The location is within easy walking distance of Isle de la Cite, and Notre Dame. I stayed here a few years ago, and wondered if my memories of my previous stay had been improved artificially with time, but no, it was still the same charming hotel. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Lovely hotel hidden behind Rue Saint-Loius en I'lle , beautifully modernised and restored within the ancient timber framed building where the once played and ancient form of Tennis. Staff all friendly, breakfast very nice, rooms comfortable, clean and quiet. Great location and we would rebook again for sure. Top notch.
