The hotel is not on the lake as its name implies. It's only a short walk from the lake and I don't think any rooms have a view of the lake. As we were there only for one night, this didn't worry us as it was close to a few things, including the lake.||The bedroom and bathroom are really nicely designed and feel large. ||Whilst there is no on-site parking, there is a public carpark nearby.||The breakfast was quite acceptable.||Unfortunately, we had a room facing a pedestrian area and it was very noisy at night with teenagers being over boisterous, so it was a bit difficult to get to sleep initially. Ask for a room on the other side to avoid this.

The hotel is a small one close to the lake, to the train station and to the center of Locarno. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is small, but has all what one needs ( mini bar, coffee machine..). We had a room with a balcony and lake view which we would ask for on our next trip. Breakfast was good, could be on the terrasse when weather allows. |We recommend this hotel to people traveling by train, looking for a central location, and for a clean small room with a nice view.

The staff are all so lovely, professional and accommodating and the breakfast was just delicious. We were made to feel welcome and the view from our balcony to the lake was spectacular. The addition of free water was welcome.

Location is unbeatable, breakfast was not worth the money. Rooms were good, bit we were shown 2 twin beds for a family of four but the other one was a sofa bed. The bathroom is dated and the door offers little privacy, especially in a family room.

Stayed here for 2 nights. First impression: Everything is super clean. Even for Swiss standards. Breakfast buffet is small but excellent - and someone is always there to watch and refill. Location is great - right in the triangle between the lake, the railway station and the central place (piazza grande). My only negative point: No way to keep the daylight out of the room, as there are no curtains or blinds. So in summer, at 05:30 say goodbye to darkness...

We stayed for 10 days during August 2022. The location - less than 5 minutes from the station was great.||||Our room faced the lake and could get very hot. The metal shutters were helpful in blacking out the room for sleep, but the air-con was noisy. We kept the windows shut at night because happy revellers could be calling to one another well into the small hours. I several nights rock music could be heard until about midnight. In the mornings an efficient but noisy street cleaning machine would arrive most mornings about 6.30am.||||The room was small but adequate. Two bottles of water were provided per day in our room's fridge ... and were very welcome. A coffee machine was provided. The only catch is that the electric sockets were either part of the bedside light-switches or right against a built-in wardrobe. Most of our adapters could not fit. The sockets were "type J" and while a 2-pin plug could work its pins had to be a little narrower than the ones used in France or Germany.||||Breakast was good with a range of cereals, cheeses and cold meats plus tea/coffee and juices.||||The staff were all pleasant and the reception team were excellent. Their advice, help and occasional loan of a adapter for charging phones was marvellous.

The rooms are small but comfortable and there's a pretty big Nespresso machine inside so great for coffee lovers. The service we received at the front desk was amazing and the guy helped us with a lot of great advice and created tichino tickets for us. The parking is offsite but close by with a special deal for 21 chf a night

Room needs updating but, otherwise, was fine as was the bathroom. We enjoyed the balcony and appreciated the automated awning that kept the afternoon sun from the room. We did have A/C which was great since we had very warm weather. Included breakfast was enjoyable...the basic continental breakfast but good. The dining area included a patio which made it even better with Covid still on the front burner. The location was great as the bus stop was very close. The hotel, like many Swiss towns, provided a visitor pass which included free bus transportation along with other discounts. We took the bus to Ascona which we loved. The hotel was helpful in directing us to a pharmacy where we got our Covid tests 3 days before returning home.
