The hotel is a lovely quaint family run hotel in the historic district and very close to the Rhone. The room was a good size for France and very comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Two flights of steep stairs to get to checkout of the room with medium sized baggage was a challenge when leaving, however, my luggage was delivered to my room on my arrival. Overall a lovely stay which was made more enjoyable by the sounds of live classical music from an afternoon performance at the Musée across the road in the late afternoon.

Hotel Musee is a darling hotel in the historic district. It is a little challenging to get to, as the roads are very narrow and you must call the hotel to lower a bollard so you can enter, but well worth it. The room itself was large, clean and very comfortable. The courtyards are relaxing and beautifully landscaped. The breakfast was included and one of the best we had during our travels. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. They identified the best place for us to park which was also very helpful and provided us with a map for walking around to see all the sites. So glad we stayed at this hotel. We had a great time.

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever experienced. The room was large, the bed comfortable, and the staff delightful. Breakfast was delicious, and the location was quiet. It's only a short walk from the heart of the old town and also an easy walk from the train station. Highly, highly, recommended.

I stayed three nights at Hôtel du Musée in Arles and really enjoyed it. The hotel is full of charm, with a beautiful and peaceful courtyard where breakfast is served, a perfect place to begin the day. It was easy to find, only 10 minutes walking from the station, and very close to all the main attractions in the centre of Arles. My room was very comfortable and quiet, with a nice bathroom and effective and quiet air conditioning, which was very appreciated in the hot summer of Arles. I slept soundly during my stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind and welcoming, especially the lady at breakfast, whose smile and friendliness made my mornings even more pleasant. The hotel’s location, atmosphere, and comfort make it a special place. My only small remark is about the sound insulation: a couple of times I could hear my neighbours coming or going late at night or early in the morning because of the noise from the keys and the doors. But this happened only once or twice, so it did not disturb me much. I recommend Hôtel du Musée to anyone who is looking for comfort, elegance, and a peaceful stay in the heart of Arles.

The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Arles, a few minutes walk from the Arena but it is in a quiet street with little noise. My room was a good size, tastefully decorated and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. An excellent breakfast selection. Strongly recommended.

We loved everything about our stay. The room, the staff, the building and the breakfast. The building is historic which we found charming, but that does mean it has some quirks. Service was superb, friendly and helpful. The location is just a few blocks from the heart of the city, but on a quiet street. The train station is about a 15 minute walk (for us who are in our seventies). The quality of the experience is outstanding for the price.

Google
The cutest, quaintest hotel. It’s just slightly outside the major tourist route but snugly inside the old city area. That made it easy to get to and very quiet. The staff and wonderful and so kind. Breakfast every morning in the courtyard was a dream. I would highly recommend staying here while in Arles.

This is a marvellous hotel. 1 minute walk to the Rhone. 4 minutes to the Roman amphitheatre. The hotel is very old with a beautiful courtyard where a fabulous breakfast and afternoon drinks are served. The rooms were spacious and clean - shower brilliant. Staff excellent. Very welcoming and helpful. Arles is lovely and this is a perfect location to explore this medieval town.

Yelp
This was our bike tour's hotel for one night in Arles, the town made famous by Van Gogh. Located a short distance from the shore, it's central to the whole downtown Arles area, and is right across the street from the Musee Reattu, hence its name. While the building is quite ancient, they'd made a lot of modern updates and it had one of the most gorgeous patios ever. Our room was spacious with a really cute bathroom. They had one of the best free breakfasts we experienced during our whole trip, with a boiled-egg station, which I hadn't seen before or since. Plus the most amazing croissants, wow. That said, there were a few issues which prevent me from giving them a higher rating: - They went a little crazy with the lavender room fragrance and we were seriously gassed out for most of evening--we had to leave our window open in hopes of dissipating it but it stayed pretty strong the whole time. - The floor of our room was sloped, and the person whose bed was in the sloped corner had the worst night's sleep ever. - The bike storage was on the 2nd floor, and it wasn't easy hauling our rather heavy hybrid bikes up and down the stairs (granted, this is a very specialized problem--most of the guests probably won't have to deal with this) I think this place would be a good value for most travelers and worth a look. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Conveniently located with cute decor and decent amenities, but has some caveats.

Yelp
What a great little hotel. I stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed the place. While Arles was a little lack luster this family run hotel was great. I enjoyed the nice breakfast, smiling faces, pleasant service and lovely courtyard. Don't hesitate to order a bottle of wine and sit in the courtyard and read a book. Yes the beds could be updated to a more comfortable mattress and a few little things could be repaired but the place has tons of charm. Also I'd recommend that they use a little less lavender fragrance. The other issues was that our neighbor was smoking in their room but I dint hold that against the hotel as it was against policy. Great service and great value!

Yelp
This is a charming property in the heart of old town. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful if a bit casual. Cons: no elevator, walls are pretty thin between rooms. Self-serve breakfast was very good. The location, room size, and charm makes up for the minor shortcomings.
