I stayed three nights at Hôtel du Musée in Arles and really enjoyed it. The hotel is full of charm, with a beautiful and peaceful courtyard where breakfast is served, a perfect place to begin the day. It was easy to find, only 10 minutes walking from the station, and very close to all the main attractions in the centre of Arles. My room was very comfortable and quiet, with a nice bathroom and effective and quiet air conditioning, which was very appreciated in the hot summer of Arles. I slept soundly during my stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind and welcoming, especially the lady at breakfast, whose smile and friendliness made my mornings even more pleasant. The hotel’s location, atmosphere, and comfort make it a special place. My only small remark is about the sound insulation: a couple of times I could hear my neighbours coming or going late at night or early in the morning because of the noise from the keys and the doors. But this happened only once or twice, so it did not disturb me much. I recommend Hôtel du Musée to anyone who is looking for comfort, elegance, and a peaceful stay in the heart of Arles.

This is a marvellous hotel. 1 minute walk to the Rhone. 4 minutes to the Roman amphitheatre. The hotel is very old with a beautiful courtyard where a fabulous breakfast and afternoon drinks are served. The rooms were spacious and clean - shower brilliant. Staff excellent. Very welcoming and helpful. Arles is lovely and this is a perfect location to explore this medieval town.

A very nice hotel!! They had an outdoor area which was very pretty!! The hotel had a very vintage kind of vibe so if you love a more vintage look then this hotel is a great place to stay at! The staff my father and I spoke to were very good at English and were very friendly, they also told us a bit about what we could see in Arles. If I return to Arles again (which I most likely will) I will probably choose to stay here again, it’s pretty close to everything!! Overall a good experience!

One feels at home at the Hotel du Musée. It is quiet and restful, central but away from the crowds. Service is excellent yet unobtrusive. And nothing beats starting the day with a relaxed breakfast in the charming courtyard. My sole, very minor criticism is the shortage of power outlets in the room. One might have to disconnect a table lamp to free one up in order to charge a phone, a camera battery, or connect a computer.

This hotel is charming. Very convenient location makes it ideal to move about Arles. William and Laurence were extremely helpful, friendly and fantastic hosts. The breakfast in the courtyard was clean with a variety of hot and cold items. Overall, we had an excellent stay that exceeded all expectations.

Very pretty and well located in the beautiful town of Arles. Management so accommodating when trying to manage a complex booking over 8 time zones and in another language. Friendly and professional. I loved all the staff. EXCELLENT breakfast with proper baguette, excellent butter and jam, as well as a great assortment of breakfast items. Good coffee. Thank you. I highly recommend.

I enjoyed a 4 night stay in this charming family run hotel. It is certainly a little quirky but I felt it had real personality. Without exception the staff were friendly, pleasant & helpful. Having breakfast in the beautiful courtyard was a real treat and a special word for the lady in charge of the breakfast area who worked very hard to maintain the high standards obviously required here.

I had a very relaxed stay at this charming hotel while visiting Arles and the surrounding area. An 8-10 minute stroll from the railway station, it is well located within the historic area of Arles and ideal for visiting its many historic sites. I particularly enjoyed having breakfast in the pretty courtyard which was a real treat. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. If you want to stay somewhere with “personality”, the Hotel MUSEE would be a great choice!

Yelp
This was our bike tour's hotel for one night in Arles, the town made famous by Van Gogh. Located a short distance from the shore, it's central to the whole downtown Arles area, and is right across the street from the Musee Reattu, hence its name. While the building is quite ancient, they'd made a lot of modern updates and it had one of the most gorgeous patios ever. Our room was spacious with a really cute bathroom. They had one of the best free breakfasts we experienced during our whole trip, with a boiled-egg station, which I hadn't seen before or since. Plus the most amazing croissants, wow. That said, there were a few issues which prevent me from giving them a higher rating: - They went a little crazy with the lavender room fragrance and we were seriously gassed out for most of evening--we had to leave our window open in hopes of dissipating it but it stayed pretty strong the whole time. - The floor of our room was sloped, and the person whose bed was in the sloped corner had the worst night's sleep ever. - The bike storage was on the 2nd floor, and it wasn't easy hauling our rather heavy hybrid bikes up and down the stairs (granted, this is a very specialized problem--most of the guests probably won't have to deal with this) I think this place would be a good value for most travelers and worth a look. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Conveniently located with cute decor and decent amenities, but has some caveats.

Yelp
What a great little hotel. I stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed the place. While Arles was a little lack luster this family run hotel was great. I enjoyed the nice breakfast, smiling faces, pleasant service and lovely courtyard. Don't hesitate to order a bottle of wine and sit in the courtyard and read a book. Yes the beds could be updated to a more comfortable mattress and a few little things could be repaired but the place has tons of charm. Also I'd recommend that they use a little less lavender fragrance. The other issues was that our neighbor was smoking in their room but I dint hold that against the hotel as it was against policy. Great service and great value!

Yelp
This is a charming property in the heart of old town. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful if a bit casual. Cons: no elevator, walls are pretty thin between rooms. Self-serve breakfast was very good. The location, room size, and charm makes up for the minor shortcomings.
