Nice rooms and a very friendly English-speaking host. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, with the nearest secure lot an 8-minute walk away, but it's not expensive. The hotel is in a great location close to the city center, though it's near a busy road. However, the rooms are well-insulated and air-conditioned, so as long as you keep the windows closed, the noise is barely noticeable.

Very helpful staff (assisted us with evening entertainment plus parking). Other reviews had warned about parking the night before the weekly street market in certain lots, so we avoided that lot. It turns out that the city's largest lot, Monnier, is only a 5-6 minute walk away, so we parked there after unloading luggage. The rooms are clean and modern with everything functioning well. Check out the decorated elevator!

Relaxed, very welcoming, well organised hotel. Good location on river front and easy access to town centre. Excellent bike storage for a built up area. Good rooms and shower area. Comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Ideal for a 1-night stay on our way home from Southern France. ||You’ll have to drive about 10 min after taking the exit. Parking space is scarce, especially on Saturdays, but there’s a parking lot at about 5 min walking distance. |Location is super nice near the river. ||Rooms are really small but the bathroom’s nicely refurbished since the first time we came there around 8 years ago. I particularly liked the shower. ||We had difficulty getting checked-in (the hotel uses DIY check-in after 9 or 10 pm) when we arrived at 11 pm. There’s a phone number you can call, but it’s quite hidden in the corner. They should communicate that more clearly. Also, when booking online after 10 pm via a broker (e.g. Agoda) you will always have to call that number, in order to be able to get access to your room via the DIY check-in. I’d recommend they communicate that more clearly either at the entrance or upon making the reservation online. We spent at least 10 min trying to check-in ourselves but in vain. Not easy when you’re extremely tired from a long drive. |We had a minor hygiene issue when we arrived in our room, but I told them the morning after (and showed pics) and they made up for it in the way it should be, so next time we’d be near Mâcon, we would probably stay there again since the beds are quite good, and that’s what counts the most.

Beautiful river views from our room. Large super comfy bed. Lovely helpful lady on reception. Breakfast available. It has a vending machine for little snacks and a lounge to go down and relax in. It has a lift. Short walk to shops and bars. Nice hotel.

Great family room. Comfy beds, decent shower. Bit of an issue finding parking but Parking Lamartine was fine. Would definitely use again for a family road trip.

the location of the hotel is good as it's across the river and near the restaurants and shopping streets. however, i just came at a very bad time when almost the whole of shopping street was under construction ! for that google didn't have an alert and i had to drag my luggage through constructions streets. the hotel of course , had nothing to do with it. you can walk to it via the riverside street which is more enjoyable and it's just 15 minutes walk from the train station.||||the room i got was big enough for one. though fitting 2 luggages for 2 people would be a challenge. the bed is big enough though. it's complete with tea making facilities but there was no coffee provided. ||||it's safe as the main door is locked at night. however there were stair steps from the lobby to the elevator which is annoying if you have a heavy luggage.

Arrived a few minutes after 9pm. Hotel was locked with nobody there. I ended up having to check in in a different hotel up the street The hotel has no parking and all public spaces were taken Room was very basic but clean and comfortable. My bedside table looked like a breeze block with some wood on Breakfast was ok but again very basic
