The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent location right in the heart of the old city.
Unfortunately, some aspects of the stay were disappointing. The elevator did not work properly, so we had to rely on a very narrow staircase. While the vintage style, including the old telephone in the room, added a certain charm, the overall décor appeared outdated – for example, stickers were peeling off.
The room itself was spacious enough, but cleanliness left much to be desired. The shower showed signs of mold, there were hairs left behind, a dark stain (likely old chewing gum) was embedded in the carpet next to the bed, and cup marks were visible on the table.
On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful, with special mention to the lady responsible for breakfast, who was particularly attentive. The breakfast selection was good, offering cooked eggs, pancakes, pain au chocolat, yogurt, cereals, cheese, and jam.
