The hotel is a labyrinth of rooms in narrow corridors but that is what we expected. The one lift is tiny and temperamental. Reception was not manned when we arrived and we waited more than 10 minutes for someone to appear - we had arrived in the window that we asked for (1900-2000 on a Sunday evening). We did ring the number that the note on the reception desk told us to but to no avail. The room was fine - it was very cramped but reviews had told us about this so we were forewarned. The view from our attic was great. The fridge adequate. The bathroom fine but the bath plug was broken (sheared off) and unusable and the shower not suited to me (1m86). The bed was great! Really big and comfortable. After all this we feared for the breakfast but this was above expectation and we actually lingered over it. WiFi inadequate - we got a data breach waring when logging on so opted to use our own data connection. We wouldn't use the hotel again but it had it's good points - but at the price we paid we expected something better.

Horrible. Don't BELIEVE the photos. We got a "premium" room. Laughable. Seriously I about peed my pants. Of course no changes to the room after pointing it out Down a dark hallway. Spooky. I get small European rooms. We travel a lot. Thats not it, to advertise falsely drives me crazy. Oh while lessons learned. I am really wondering about trusting Trip advisor reviews.

Best hotel we stayed in during an 8 day France trip. We stayed in a suite with balcony, I HIGHLY recommend you book this room. The price is a good value but the view is incredible, you are right above all the action and it’s beyond gorgeous. All the staff we met were kind and professional, I had zero issues with this hotel. Location is prime, just be ready to search a few garages for parking if you’re coming during high season and peak time of day. Thanks for such an amazing stay!

This hotel is perfect for an overnight stay in beautiful Annecy. |The room is typically French small but comfortable. The location is perfect and exactly where you need to be to access the old town, the lake and the railway station. |Great value for money too. |Highly recommend.

The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent location right in the heart of the old city. Unfortunately, some aspects of the stay were disappointing. The elevator did not work properly, so we had to rely on a very narrow staircase. While the vintage style, including the old telephone in the room, added a certain charm, the overall décor appeared outdated – for example, stickers were peeling off. The room itself was spacious enough, but cleanliness left much to be desired. The shower showed signs of mold, there were hairs left behind, a dark stain (likely old chewing gum) was embedded in the carpet next to the bed, and cup marks were visible on the table. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful, with special mention to the lady responsible for breakfast, who was particularly attentive. The breakfast selection was good, offering cooked eggs, pancakes, pain au chocolat, yogurt, cereals, cheese, and jam.

Google
Great location near all restaurants and shops in Annecy. The hotel itself is very clean and with a great level of service where we felt very welcomed. Our room had an awful view over the "courtyard" which was unfortunate. Other than that we had a great stay!

This is a cute little place with 33 rooms in the heart of the old city in the middle of Annecy, France, a city with mountains and a lake. Annecy is nicknamed the "Venice of the Alps" on lake Annecy, the cleanest lake in Europe and is the Gateway to the Elite part of the Alps. The hotel has apparently been modified from one of the ancient buildings of old Annecy with odd shaped rooms tucked into corners and a spiral stone staircase to access the floors, as well as a modern but small elevator. The room we were in had a modern bathroom and was decorated artistically with a window overlooking a bustling back street filled with restaurants and glacee stands. We had no shortage of excellent restaurants within 2 blocks in any direction and easily within walking distance to the lake front. I would definitely stay in this same hotel if I get the chance to return!

There is a sink, but it its leaking There is a faucet, but it drips There is a toilet, but it creaks because it's loose There is a shower, but it's height can't be adjusted There is a bathtub, but it has no shower curtain There is a tv, but it turned on in the middle of the night There is a remote for the TV, but the power button doesn't work There is an aircon, but it turns on and off very noisely There is a carpet, but it's heavily stained There is coffee, but it's instant There are pillows in the bed, but they are very thin There is a bathroom door, but it binds There is a door handle, buts it's loose There is a bed, and it's actually alright The service is OK, and the location couldn't be much better. Some rooms lack a view, but are also priced accordingly.

Yelp
The check in process was simple. I treated myself to the suite and had an amazing view of the canal with a balcony. The bed was a bit hard, but I slept great. They gave me a ticket to comp my parking in the garage. I had a great experience here. In the middle of anything you'd want.

Yelp
Super great location. Good clean room. Exactly as promoted but the convenience of the location is extraordinary. Very helpful staff prepared with maps, and other information. We parked in the City Hall parking space across the street and rolled our bags over. It was a short couple of blocks and there were elevators in the garage and the hotel. It was an easy roll and not challenging. It is a good idea to map out the location so you can find the place ahead of time as though the shop owners and locals are very helpful it is hard to understand their French and most people we encountered did not speak English - though they do at the hotel.

Yelp
What a charming hotel! My wife and I spent two great nights here in March, and we couldn't have been happier with the hospitality, location, and accommodations. I imagine if you come in the busier months, you'll want to book ahead.
