I was very satisfied with the service, price, and location. Everything was smooth and exceeded my expectations. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in Montpellier.

Very friendly staff who speak English well. Parking way & on site— the rooms are beautifully kept—a mix of old world charm and modern conveniences

Great location, welcoming staff, clean, quiet, pretty… perfect little hotel! The breakfast is nice, though nothing out of this world. The shower is a bit small, but the bathroom is clean. Not sure I saw a hair dryer. It’s a short walk to restaurants.

I want to review this hotel, especially for the kindness and helpfulness of its young managers. I spent three days in Montpellier for work, and I chose the Hotel du Parc on the recommendation of local colleagues. The hotel is housed in a historic building, partially renovated to maintain its original appearance. Outside, there is a well-kept and shaded courtyard where you can park your car. The rooms are small but comfortable, functional, and clean. Breakfast is complete and of excellent quality. As I mentioned before, the managers are very kind. If I were to return to Montpellier, my first choice would be the Hotel du Parc.

The rooms were tiny but adorable. The front desk was helpful and multilingual. We had a room with a separate patio/terrace entrance which unfortunately invited an unwelcome person from the street to walk into our room in the middle of the night (could have been a drunk guest of the hotel who was confused) so be sure to lock all your doors! Despite this experience I would stay here again.

We took 4 rooms as group of cyclists. I found the booking process very helpful and the reception were able to reassure me about safe storage for our bikes. We had a good parking space too. The rooms were all clean and it was nice and quiet at night. Only one comment would be that the pillows could be more comfortable. The staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The centre of Montpellier was just a short walk away. Overall a good place to stay for the price.

Obliging staff - at least they tried to be. Shout out to John and Samuel in particular.||But that's where the compliments stop.||Absolutely dreadful first room. Supposedly superior double!! Huge pillar in the middle of a very small room with a fairly large antiquated bathroom to the side. Small double bed. Didn't sleep a wink.||Given a second room for remaining three nights. Leaking air conditioning unit ultimately resulting in pool of water, foul smell, and the need for staff to bring extra towels to leave on the floor to soak up the drips. Told couldn't be fixed until following week and no other rooms. Offered a breakfast as compensation. REALLY!! Plus noisy, cramped, in need of renovation throughout.||ABSOLUTELY NO FACILITIES.||And not really even terribly well positioned in our view - but some may think otherwise admittedly.||I would suggest AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. (Although from the outside this is a lovely looking old Montpellier home which I am sure had its day.)

This hotel is a gem - small, family-run, cosy little hotel in a retired backstreet - yet within a walking distance from most downtown hotspots. Rooms are nicely designed, charmful and relaxing - breakfast in the morning is excellent. Young and friendly/helping staff. An excellent stay by all standards!

Yelp
Very boutique. Our room has 10' ceilings and a private bathroom. Large room with plenty of room, which is very rare in European hotels. Hotel is a bit hard to find even with GPS but that is more the city's issue than the hotel. Area around hotel is nice and full of younger people. Not much activity on the streets surrounding the hotel but it is a saturday and almost holiday time in France, late july. Private car park is free and wonderful. Make sure you have a small car to get around the streets

Yelp
I've given a 2star hotel 4 ! It deserves it. Clean, friendly, lovely breakfasts and they let you practise your 30 year old school French on them! It's a short walk to the old town and the helpful and knowledgable staff can tell you where/how/what to go and see. THe town itself is full of hidden alleys and corners, tempting you to diverge off your chosen path and even (it seems) deliberately taking you somewhere else! Fortunately it's a manageable town centre and you always end up somewhere you recognise! A couple of fab markets too which we used for lunch things. Downsides? None for the hotel - it's lovely except it would be nice to have an evening meal there. For the town - its expensive for coffee! And wine!! And don't bother with the walking tour. We had to give up as the guide was horrible and didn't follow the procedure of letting us know where on the map we were. She only had to say numbers in French; I wasn't expecting any special treatment but she made it perfectly clear that she didn't want 'foreigners' there! xx
