I visited this restaurant on the 8/8/25 at 10.50. I wanted to order a glass of champagne. I was seated and ignored for 30 minutes. I left without ordering my drink. Poor service a

Lovely little hotel, right by the lake, affordable by swiss standards, friendly staff, breakfast buffet nothing to write home about and freezing breakfast room. But ! The room! Right under the roof, overlooking the lake and marina, with a big bathtub. Really dreamy!

Previously, we had booked a lake view room at this hotel, but we were given a moldy, back room. When we complained to the hotel owner, he got very emotional and told us, "You can complain to the booking site. We are just doing what we are told, and we cannot change the room or refund anything." However, the lake view room was still available online that day. And he left hotel and refused to talk to him anymore. I felt that he was the kind of businessperson who only thinks about himself, like the ones we sometimes see. It was an important part of our life's travel, but I was very disappointed with the owner's response, and the room was smelly, so I rebooked and moved to another hotel. Similar reviews are scattered around, mainly from Asian tourists, so I am not sure if that is the main reason or a coincidence. In any case, if you don't want to fail your trip, I would advise you to avoid this hotel. Sincerely.

The staff were really friendly and courteous. The room was super clean, and the beautiful lake view along with the easy access to the metro made my stay fantastic. The restaurant staff, especially during breakfast, were very friendly and accommodating.

A pleasant hotel with a reasonably priced restaurant attached. The room I had was small but pleasant and clean. Most of the staff speak English, and the hotel is just across the road from Lake Geneva. An interesting addition is that a stay currently comes with a 15 day travel pass for public transport.

Our room smells putrid! Room 18, very noisy, stays away from this room! Outdated, everything is old. I am totally disappointed! Crappy location and I say this because we arrived in a car! With the hotel rebate, the parking a short away is 15 francs.... Not impressed, shame on me for reserving here!!!

Stayed here for 3 nights after my visit to Zermatt. I arrived by train and got the metro from the station to Ouchy then less than 5 minutes' walk to the hotel. Proximity to the metro is a huge advantage. The du Port is in a great location across the road from Lake Geneva, and very close to the departure points for the ferries if you fancy a trip on the lake. I went across to Evian though it was very quiet there in the middle of winter. The Olympic Museum is just a short walk along the lake. I expect Switzerland to be expensive, but I balked at paying 13CHF for a coffee in the museum! Nearby are a enough bars and restaurants to save you going up to the city centre every evening. ||As is normal in Switzerland the hotel gave me a free public transport pass, essential for going up the steep hills of Lausanne, but it was a very pleasant walk downhill from the centre of the city through what appeared to be a fairly affluent area. ||I was pleased with the hotel. It looked like it had been refurbished not too long ago and my room fittings were good quality, although I thought there was a lack of charging outlets in the room. The staff were very pleasant, especially the cleaning ladies. I thought it was a good value hotel with a nice atmosphere and would certainly stay here again if I came back to Lausanne..

Good little family-run hotel right on the lake, close to the lake ferries. Very good restaurant with a good local wine list and a very creditable version of the local dish filets de perche. Comfortable, excellent service.
