This was my second stay at Hotel Du Printemps. Last time was 10 years ago. The hotel is nicely located in a very nice neighborhood. There are so many cafes & restaurants & bars within easy walking distance. It is not a very touristy area, it is a real neighborhood. The adjoining areas are also very pleasant. There are very easy & good transport options nearby so an excellent base for exploring Paris generally. The hotel itself is in good shape & for Paris, the rooms are a good size. This means small, but not too small! The hotel is well air-conditioned which is very welcome. Overall, I cannot fault the hotel, staff & service. I will certainly return.

The hotel is well situated for getting about the city with Nation metro station as well as Picpus nearby. The area feels safe so long as you are diligent (as you should be in any major city).||||The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We had an issue with the bathroom which was promptly solved. All in all would recommend. Fantastic stay.

Hotel is in an attractive neighborhood with several cafes and convenient location to metro station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility had a small but well-appointed outdoor enclosed patio for relaxing with coffee and pastries from nearby bakery. Rooms are somewhat small but worth the price of lodging.

The rooms are tiny but well designed. The walls are pretty thin though! Breakfast was great. Great value. The freah cold water machine was a very nice touch and the air conditioning was so welcome. The Street was lovely and very quiet. Easy to access several metro lines. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. All the staff were friendly and always ready to help. The location is very convenient — close to both Nation and Picpus metro stations. The hotel has a lift which made it easier to manage luggage. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Staff Member Julian was exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was the same everyday, simple but nice. Small place but kept very clean and tidy. Hotel is close to amenities and metro line.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Du Printemps. Everything was clean, and the staff were extremely nice. The location was excellent, just a 20-30 minute train ride to all the popular landmarks. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

To start this review off, if you are looking for an American sized hotel room - this is not the place for you. Printemps is a boutique style hotel with a small amount of rooms and a very “at home” vibe from staff. ||Staff was lovely. They were all friendly and eager to help. We felt very much at home at this property for our 3 night stay. They were warm and made us feel so comfortable - cannot thank them enough for that. ||The rooms are small - but that’s to be expected at this type of property. They were clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. We didn’t plan to spend much time in the room anyway, so having a place for our luggage, a place to sleep, and a bathroom was all we were looking for. ||Breakfast is basic, but it’s just what we wanted to start our day before exploring the city. Upon check in the desk asked us what kind of pastry we would like each morning - as they get them from a bakery nearby fresh every day - that was such a treat!!! The pain au chocolat was to die for and it was such a nice addition to our stay in Paris. ||The hotel is in a quiet area but there are cafe bars to visit in the proximity. (It is on the outskirts of Paris) Picpus and National metro are both in walking distance (Picpus across the street and National about 5 minute walk) and both metros give you access to multiple metro lines which made it a breeze to get into center city. ||I removed 1 star due to the location of our room. We were in room 16 and next to that was a toilet for the hotel, and each morning when breakfast began it seems guests from breakfast were coming up to use it as it was just 1 floor from the lobby. Our bed backed against the wall of the toilet so we could heard each person using it, but the door slamming was what really put us off. Perhaps staff could put a sign on the toilet door asking guests to be mindful to not let the door slam - that would have solved our issue completely. ||There was one major downside on our last night which was completely out of the staffs’ control. This hotel, in my opinion, is not a place for young children or infants. The room across from us had a very young baby who was screaming from 2am-5am - and I mean screaming. It woke us up and did not stop and it was the night / day of our departure so we had no sleep before having a 12 hour day of travel ahead of us. It got to a point where I was concerned the baby was left alone in the room because it didn’t seem the parents were doing anything about it. I went downstairs to go outside for a few minutes (at 4am) and I could hear this baby screaming from the street - so I assume the rest of our floor and more of the hotel was subjected to this as well. This is not a hotel for children or infants - I’m aware you can’t control a baby but please be mindful of other guests and book elsewhere, as that experience left us exhausted for a very long day. ||All in all, I would book this property again. The price for what you get and the ease of getting into center city is well worth it. Lovely property and very VERY professional and helpful staff. Thank you !

Yelp
Prices are right, especially considering that breakfast is included. Breakfast is a casual, serve-yourself affair downstairs with great quality croissants, eggs that you can boil yourself, cheeses, hams, fruit, yogurts, etc. Very nice! Rooms, while small, are very comfortable and clean. TV should be a bit better for relaxing at night. Bathrooms are TINY, but very nice and modern. They should stop allowing smoking in the courtyard, as all it does is waft into everyone's rooms. It would be great for them to provide more detailed info printed in various languages for their customers to show exactly how to get to the two-three closest Metro stations, as only one is VERY close. Nice neighborhood, multiple mini-markets nearby.

Yelp
I have just returned from staying at this hotel for the past 8 days. I probably would have rated this 4 starts if it hadn't been under renovation. The good: - Friendly staff (with the exception of the Asian woman who cleans the breakfast bar area and seemed very upset that I kept wanting hot water from her) but the front desk people were amazing. - Clean rooms. Super clean. The housekeeping was exceptional. - Very affordable - Free Internet - Lots of good restaurants nearby - Located at the Nation metro stop which is a hub and connects to a bunch of metros (probably half of them) - They have rooms that accommodate 3 people (3 separate twin beds) so it's good for travelling with a group. It would be a really really good place to stay with 2 friends, the rate would be great split 3 ways. - EXCELLENT water pressure in the shower. Seriously. It was amazing. The bad: - It's at the Nation metro stop which is pretty far from downtown. It's a 35m walk from Bastille or Marais districts and a 10-15m metro ride. You have to leave this neighbourhood to get to anything cool. I think it's a fair trade for the price and cleanliness though. - When I was staying here they were renovating. It was very annoying. 2 mornings out of 8 I was woken up before 0800 by hammering and sawing and one morning there was no hot water. - No safe available. I had to carry my passport the entire week 100% of the time because there was nowhere to leave it. Major fail. Money belts are SO uncomfortable when it's 30 degrees out. - Hairdryer sucks. - 8 EUR for continental breakfast. Just go to the bakery around the corner for 1.20 EUR. - While the internet was free, it was also slow and unreliable. It seemed to work better with my iphone than with my laptop. Overall, I would probably not stay here again because of the distance to downtown. However, the hotel is very clean and the price was right.

Yelp
I stayed here 3 nights on Sep 20-23 on Hoonymoon. I'll give this hotel 4 stars because overall it was a good experience. Clean rooms, friendly staff, near a metro. That being said, my review is aimed at Americans or non-french speakers. This hotel is located in a not too touristic part of Paris. Many of the people in the street/shops/restaurants near by did not really speak much English. Not really a problem and i'm sure you can get by with a smile and a few words. I didn't like that you had to hand in and pick up your room key each time you entered or left the hotel. They use actual keys and not keycards... Skip the paid breakfast plenty of cheap sandwich shops nearby. I used the picpus metro which connected to the main line that took us to all the touristic spots. There wasn't much taxis in the area so transportation could be an issue.

Yelp
I stayed with a friend at this hotel during first week of September 2015. I can't say enough positive things about the hotel, including the breakfast served every morning. The staff is friendly, especially Yousef and Saed at the front desk. They were AMAZING !!!! The rooms are super clean; very affordable; FREE internet made it possible for me to travel without carrying along my lap top; assorted and reasonable restaurants nearby. While it is not downtown, I'm a writer and prefer to be "off the beaten path." Pick a room with separate twin beds, like we did. ENJOY!!!!

Yelp
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights on our first visit to Paris last summer. Staff was really friendly and helped us a lot in finding great things to do. The room was a little small but well decorated and with A/C. Everything looked modern as the place has been renovated recently. It's not in the heart of the city but a short metro ride to anywhere exciting, including Disneyland. It was also easy to go to the airport when we left. Overall we had an amazing stay in Paris and this little charming hotel helped a lot. Would definitely go back on my next visit.
