"A 30-room boutique tucked behind an old Egyptian façade near Rue Montorgueil and overlooking the heritage-listed Passage du Caire, this centrally located property uses a jewel-tone palette of emerald and sapphire conceived by architect Vincent Bestie and first-time hoteliers Charlotte and Samuel Castro. Rooms are sunlit, with a top-floor suite that opens onto a private balcony and other rooms that look onto a small square, making it a stylish, light-filled choice for exploring the central arrondissement." - Sara Lieberman

Hotel du Sentier was lovely! The room design gives it a very Parisian feel and we loved it! The staff were super communicative and responsive. We were able to coordinate getting the room decorated for my mom’s birthday with flowers, balloons, and a cake. They did such an amazing job putting everything together! And while we were there, we were able to reach them through their WhatsApp! The location was central and perfect, we felt very safe. There’s a cafe/restaurant attached to the hotel and many other small restaurants within the vicinity! We added on breakfast which was nice cause they delivered it to our rooms, but I would say I don’t think it’s worth it because it wasn’t very filling, mainly just croissants, fruits, yogurts + drinks, and if you wanted eggs and stuff, it would be extra. Also our bathroom ceiling did leak on one night of our stay :( But nonetheless, we would highly recommend Hotel du Sentier! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, and made us feel at home! Thank you Hotel du Sentier for the warm stay (and Katherine who was an absolute sweetheart)!

Great location, easy accessible location the hotel offered large, clean, bright rooms and exceptional staff as well. Cannot fault it. The rooms are modern but have character with large windows that overlook the street and beautiful paraquet flooring. The bed was very large and comfortable with a big, fluffy duvet. The toilet was seperate from the roomy shower room. Ample toiletries are supplied and the soap and lotion smells amazing. Checkout at 12pm and staff are happy to answer or help with any queries with a smile. Lovely on sight restaurant as well the is part of the square. Parision character abounds. Thank you, will be back.

Stayed here for 6 nights during our Honeymoon. This hotel was so lovely and charming—perfect for our first time in Paris. The room was gorgeous with such a pretty view; the bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. In a great location close to the Metro and walkable to so many restaurants and patisseries. Would highly recommend!

Simple modern hotel in the 2nd Arr. An up and coming neighborhood. We had a signature room which was bright and very clean. Felt new. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. They provided a nice list of places in the area to eat or have a coffee/drink. Close to the Metro and walking distance to many attractions and places to eat and drink. Looking forward to seeing this neighborhood in a few years as most buildings are being renovated. Don't miss the bakery across the street - yum! Also Frenchie's Restaurant was outstanding (around the corner).

This is a lovely small hotel in this 2nd arrondissement. Ths location is great, easy walking to many of the notable spots to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good. You can order online through the hotel website for breakfast and it will be ready when you arrive. You can also just show up but that messes with their planning. The staff there were very nice too. We had one of the higher priced rooms and it's view over the little triangle below was fun. However. There were several minor maintenance issues. The circular carpet around the bed was ugly and badly stained. One of the two sinks couldn't be stoppered. The reading light on one side of the bed didn't work at all but I'm an engineer and was able to fix it. The shower enclosure allows water to leak onto the marble floor. The A/C wired well except there was an intermittent pumping/groaning sound that was very noticeable. We didn't say anything about these issues because they weren't show stoppers but they do show a general lack of maintenance. Still, we truly enjoyed our stay (4 days).

The Hotel du Sentier staff was so helpful. My favorite was one of the staff sincerely offered to do the extra for me and said, “… but of course Madame, the hotel is your home”. Our room was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. The hotel’s location offered easy access to all Paris’s experiences. We loved the hotel’s towels and linens. They were top grade luxury. We highly recommended Hotel du Sentier.

We recently stayed in Paris for 8 nights at the hotel (Signature Room). We absolutely loved it. The room was spacious with a beautiful view of old Paris, and the neighborhood was such a delightful surprise. We knew it would be central for easy walking to the Marais, Ile de la Cite, Latin Quarter, Louvre, etc, but didn't realize how charming the immediate neighborhood would be. The Rue du Nil is a gem as is the historic Rue Montorgueil. There are at least three excellent coffee shops nearby for coffee snobs (L'Arbre a Cafe, Rem's Coffee Shop, and Noir.)|The hotel staff was extremely friendly and happy to help with reservations (some restaurants still require reservations by phone!) or other assistance we needed. And it was a treat to stay in such a small hotel with a lively restaurant that provided room service:)|The hotel was a perfect home base for our trip to Paris and we are already dreaming about our next stay there!
