We enjoyed 1 night in Chabli in April before a day of wine tasting. The property was formerly a grain mill and we loved the charm of the old building turned into a hotel. All the expected modern amenities were present with a large tub and separate shower, table & chairs, large bed, TV, shelves and clothes hanging space. There are stairs to access the rooms and the breakfast area, but not that many in either case. The stream runs under the building and the hotel provided earplugs in case the noise was a disturbance, but we found the room to be quiet with the window closed. ||The shared ‘living room’ and breakfast area opens to a terrace with a beautiful view of vineyards. The small town is easily walkable and since the award winning restaurant that is part of the hotel building was closed the day we visited, we enjoyed a delicious meal just down the street after looking around at a few shops on the way. ||Breakfast was included and we enjoyed a selection of breads, yogurt, fruit, coffee, etc. Mostly a light contenental type selection.||The small front desk is only staffed part of the day. We arrived after the normal hours, and the process to enter with a key code received by email ahead of time was very simple. Our room key was waiting for us just inside the main entry as promised. ||I recommend booking at this hotel for your visit to Chabli.
