Many hotels advertise themselves as "dog friendly," but often that just means "dogs are allowed." However, we had a genuinely great experience at this hotel with our dog. She's a nervous rescue and can be reactive at times, but all the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Thanks to them, we were able to relax for once in a public space with her.
The service in both the restaurant and bar was excellent—everyone was polite, professional, and friendly. Reception was also great, with the exception of the manager, to be honest.
The room itself was a bit dusty and could’ve been cleaner, but the facilities were excellent, it wasn't missing a detail, and the bed was very comfortable. They also provided food and water bowls for the doggy, a dog bed, and even a little welcome bag with treats, a toy, and poo bags. Top notch.
Overall, we were very happy with the experience and would absolutely recommend it to other dog owners.
