The hotel is a 4 star but my experience was more like a 3 star. The location is hard to beat, right at Ban Jelačić Square. However, the hotel feels a bit dated and the rooms could do with a make-over. I stayed for 3 nights and the room was fine but relatively small, especially the shower was tiny and not very luxurious. The bed only had one pillow. Even for a single room, they could provide more comfort by supplying more pillows and better bedsheets. While it was appreciated that the room was well heated with the cold weather outside, the temperature was definitely on the higher side and I didn’t manage to lower it. The soap almost ran out on the last day and hadn’t been replaced. Finally, the breakfast, while absolutely fine in terms of the food and options, was way too busy. People were wandering like zombies with plates full of food but nowhere to sit. I myself spent several minutes trying to get a table. They should definitely improve the breakfast situation. The reception staff is friendly and accommodating but at check-out, there was a long queue behind me, so I imagine it took some people forever to check out.

Although the parking is a little challenging to navigate (you can’t drive on the streets in front of the hotel so you need to understand the parking process), it was in a great location once settled. Lots of restaurants and shopping right there! The breakfast is huge and generous and the rooms were large and well appointed. I lost a necklace down the drain and they quickly retrieved it for me! The bar is a large seating area- more lounge than bar but the bartender was attentive.

We stayed in Hotel Dubrovnik during our recent visit to Zagreb.|We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel.|It is probably the most centrally located hotel in the city. (possibly the nicest one as well)|Our room was spacious. It could do without the stained carpet.... but that's ok.|Breakfast buffet was amazing.|Now to the staff.... the gentleman from the front desk who helped us with our luggage was very friendly & genuine. |Everyone else didn't get the "smile " memo.|Overall we had a very good stay that exceeded our expectations.

The staff were wonderfully helpful. We were even given a breakfast box the morning we had to leave early for our flight. Rooms were very nice with space for everything. No hair conditioner at this hotel or anywhere in Europe for that matter so pack your own. We had no street noise.

Although connected the hotel is separate from the restaurant and bar. It is difficult to get any request completed since there are so many different involved . We were appalled with the view out the window, hoping for the city but having a blank wall of the adjacent building. I doubt if we would ever consider going again. The front desk staff, at least the younger ones, were very helpful, the ones considered management, bartenders and wait staff we're very arrogant to say the least

Fantastically located hotel! Right in the heart of the city centre and very easy for transport links outside. Very bustling and lively. Lovely staff at the reception desk and the rooms are clean and very spacious! If I had to leave 1 negative is that all through the day and night you can hear very feint busker music outside but it is very feint on the 5th floor and wasn’t any problem sleeping to it. The double glazed windows were doing its job. If you require total silence then request a room that doesn’t face the high street and maybe higher level. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel and would recommend to others for the perfect location to explore all the places we want by foot or short tram ride away.

Three of us stayed here for a night whilst we were touring Europe on our motorbikes.|We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable member of staff who were able to put us quickly at ease about things (we'd had a long drive and were slightly frazzled) and arranged to have our luggage taken up to the rooms, which was a fabulous help.||The hotel is located in the heart of the city, was very clean and well laid out with lovely rooms. Sleep quality was great, no noise could be heard, the blackout curtains were really good and the beds were very comfortable.||The bathroom was a good size, basically everything I needed (and more) was available. Personally, I really liked this hotel, it was one of my favourites on the tour.||Breakfast was busy, but a reflection that what they were doing was enjoyed by many. Although parking was external to the hotel, the car park itself is monitored by cctv and we didn't experience any problems with our motorbikes although we did the usual precautions that we do everywhere and ensured that they were locked up securely.||Overall, a lovely hotel with easy access to local attractions, excellent customer service skills and great attention to detail. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

You cannot beat this hotel for its location. It is located in the heart of Zagreb and everything is within walking distance. The breakfast here was exceptional, fresh, and delicious. The workout room was great too. The service at this hotel is what wins. I asked for my sheets to be changed in the middle of the afternoon and the housekeeper was happy to take care of it within ten minutes. I had a small problem with my first room and the desk agent switched me to a new room within minutes. Great recommendations for tourists as well. I also got a great view of the town centre from my room.
