Located in the centre of the city this quality hotel is a good base to explore the city. Situated right by the main square with hundreds of bars and restaurants nearby. ||The room was spacious with good quality linen. We found the pillows a little hard. The overbath shower isn’t easy if you have mobility issues. The room was clean and well presented with safe and tea & coffee facilities. ||The dinner we had was a delicious spicy soup but unfortunately, the beef was inedible as it was so tough you could hardly cut it. The cake dessert was very pleasant. ||The breakfast was the best we had across the Balkan area. Plenty of choice and the hot food was good. Fresh fruit was available which we have found lacking in other hotels.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, I really couldn't have asked for more. The breakfast was good, particularly the variety and even when it was busy, there was still plenty of tables. One thing to note. if you are later to breakfast, I found that the staff did not replenish food that was finished - the example I had was fresh fruit which was not replaced even with 15 minutes left and many people still at breakfast. The room was a good size and everything worked as expected however, it was very dark, but it did not impact our stay too much.

My husband and I picked this hotel because of its central location, which I have to say is the only good thing I can say about it. The lobby was pretty nice, but the rooms are incredibly dated. We didn't have power plugs near the bed, and had to unplug lights to find a place to charge our phones. The towels were threadbare, and the room decor was brown and drab. The bed was just okay, and the pillows flat as pancakes. The room was quite warm, and when we turned the thermostat down, nothing happened. We called the front desk and they said they controlled the temperature centrally. We asked them to turn it down 4 degrees, but they only agreed to 1 degree. So we were quite warm for most of the night each night.||Breakfast was very mediocre, and they were constantly running out of things by the time we would get to them. The coffee was from a machine and not good at all. The front desk staff were polite, but not overly helpful. Overall, I was glad we were in the city center, but generally disappointed in our stay.

Nice city centre hotel. Easy to get around the city centre. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and informative Breakfast was really good and the bar was nice with a particularly friendly waitress. Easy to get to and from the airport by taxi with a rank nearby.

The room was a bit old fashioned, and the bathroom a bit worn out. Very loud air con system which was quite old too. The air con is fixed into the ceiling and does not have many options to operate. Did the job, though. The breakfast was amazing. Service was lovely. Location 10/10.

The hotel boasts a four-star rating, but in my opinion, it deserves even more. The central location, just a 15-minute walk to the city's main attractions, the exceptional service, spacious rooms, impeccable cleanliness, and generous and delicious breakfast all warrant a higher rating. However, my stay was marred by a frustrating issue. My room faced the "Crveni znak" sculpture, which proved to be problematic. My theory is that the aluminum structure covering the building expands when exposed to direct summer sunlight, causing it to creak and groan. While the noise was tolerable during the day, it persisted into the early hours of the night, only subsiding when temperatures dropped. I promptly reported the issue to the reception, but I didn't feel taken seriously. I was assured that someone would look into it, but no one ever came. I requested a room change, but unfortunately, it wasn't possible. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel, but if you happen to stay during the summer, I suggest avoiding rooms that face that particular side of the building.

The Hotel Dubrovnik was horrible. The ONLY good thing about it is the location. The Air Con was pretty much nonexistent. Our rooms didn’t go below 26°C. I was told that the thermostat was reading wrong and that it was actually cooler in the room than what it read. However, the thermostat eventually lowered slightly proving that it was reading correctly and that the A/C was not up to par. Plus the group I was traveling with experienced the same issue. It did not keep the rooms cool. Plus the bathroom had mold. Once the sun came up (at 5am when we were there), you were woken bc the curtains shade from the sun. Plus the pillows were so think that my head was almost at a 90° angle. Horrible.
