We had an incredible stay at Hotel Dulce Nombre in Tarifa. From the moment we arrived, the staff (in particular Christina) made us feel completely at home — warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality really stood out. For kitesurfers, the location is absolutely ideal — just minutes from the best beaches and launch spots. There’s even secure storage for gear and plenty of space to dry equipment. After a day on the water, it was great to come back to such a peaceful, laid-back setting with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. Genuinely confused as to how this hotel only has 3 stars. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a kitesurf-friendly hotel with outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here to go windsurfing/ whale watching. The family room was basic but spacious & the beds were comfy - we all slept well.|The breakfast was good - with lots to choose from & a lovely older man serving created a wonderful atmosphere by drumming a beat on the bar & singing loudly! he was entertaining & very talented!|The pool was clean & the area around it very relaxing with sunbeds etc protected from the wind!

The right balance between price and quality. Beach 10 minutes walking. You can forget about the car if you enjoy chiringuitos day and night! Nice pool where to rest. Rich breakfast and nice menu in the evening. Basically you have everything at your side and if you want to go to Tarifa pueblo it is just few minutes driving.

Apart from Basil Fawlty on reception, ( English will know this character) the hotel is great, no fuss, restaurant staff are great, breakfast was good had everything. Secure parking. Rooms immaculate. It is not walking distance from the old town so be prepared to drive. The is however a great restaurant 3 minutes walk at the end of the drive. Or use the hotel.

Fantastic hotel - I can't believe it is only 3☆☆☆ The rooms are very clean, as is the whole hotel. It has a great family vibe, and he staff are impeccable, very attentive, and have a great sense of humour.... just an 8 minute walk to Valdevaqueros beach ⛱️ great if you are kite surfing or if you want to chill with the family. There are some great beach bars and restaurants close by.👌🏽 The breakfast buffet is lovely! Dinner is also! Lovely pool area also very clean... Not many shops near Tarifa is about 15 mins in a taxi and will cost you €16 - €20 there is ample parking on site if you are driving - however if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, it has great value!!! Excellent option to stay. Variety of rooms, a restaurant and stunning sheltered pool area. Located away from the main road so traffic noise isn't noticeable and about 15 to 20 minutes walk to Valdevaceros beach. Rooms are attended every day, and super clean. Had a delicious Pizza one evening and the vino de la casa is excellent too. Staff are super friendly and the Spanish owner still produces vegetables and eggs on the land adjacent.

Apartment clean, comfy bed, comfy pillows, ideal location for birding holiday. |Main reception manager, doesn’t seem too friendly, but this was no detriment to our stay. The rest of his staff were all very nice.|We had Just one disappointment, there was no menu to read from in the restaurant. It was all done by an App. Which none of our party could get up on their phones 🤷🏻‍♀️ so we just had a choice of what was recommended by the waitress. |We only dined there twice in our 9 day stay, due to this. |And we feel they are missing out on more customers by not having menus on the tables, or even written on a board.|But we Will hopefully be coming back again.
