Hotel Duquesa de Cardona Barcelona

This hotel is wonderful! We chose this location due to the proximity to the cruise port. We are so glad that we did. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers in a room with 3 beds and it was the perfect size. There is a beautiful rooftop area and the location is close to the beach and a shopping mall. The best part of this hotel however, was the service. From the moment that we arrived the service was top notch. It felt like a luxury hotel. They immediately grabbed our bags and took them to the room. They recommended restaurants and answered any question that we had. When we needed taxis, they literally went to the street and flagged taxis down for us. It was incredible. We will stay at this hotel when we return in the future. Thank you for the amazing service!

The location was perfect and completely central to all attractions. A beautiful & intimate boutique-hotel that continued to happily surprise us as our time went on. Firstly, the staff were wonderful - attentive, always available, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Cristina was especially amazing and we cannot thank her enough for her hospitality & level of service!! The rooms are spacious and have everything you may need. The cleaning staff were prompt and detailed. The hotel itself is quiet, clean and easily accessible. The rooftop views, pool and bar were the cherry on top! Spectacular. We enjoyed our stay in every aspect and will return without question, next time we visit Barcelona. We also did the breakfast at the neighbouring hotel and food was high quality and a great assortment to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel, to any and all. Thanks a million for the memories!! 5+ STARS!!

We had a great stay at this hotel! We particularly enjoyed the beautiful view of the harbor both from our room and the rooftop bar. The location was convenient and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had great variety. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was charming and clean with a reasonable rate. There is AC, which is very much appreciated, especially on summer days! The location was perfect as we were close to the beach, shops, bus stops, and metro. We also felt safe walking around late at night. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when our flight got canceled. 100% recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Duquesa de Cardona and would absolutely consider returning on our next trip to Barcelona. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our airline had unfortunately lost our luggage, and we arrived without any adapters—but the hotel graciously provided one, which was a huge relief. The team was consistently friendly and attentive throughout our stay. One of our favorite features was the rooftop pool. It was the perfect place to unwind and take in stunning views of the marina. We ended up spending quite a bit of time there, especially enjoying the rooftop food—so much so that we ordered the calamari twice! The only thing worth noting is that the room was on the smaller side. It was manageable for two people with two large suitcases, but we did need to rearrange a bit of furniture to make it work comfortably. That said, it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise great experience. I was initially unsure about the location, as it’s not right as centrally located as other hotels I've stayed at, but we ended up loving it. The hotel offers easy access to the Gothic Quarter and is just a short walk to multiple metro stops, with plenty of excellent food options nearby. Overall, Hotel Duquesa de Cardona delivered on comfort, service, and atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again!

This hotel is in a great location right by the gothic quarter, La Rambla, and the beach. We loved being able to walk everywhere. We are a family of 4 and we appreciated having a king bed and 2 twin beds in one room. The layout was nice and did not feel cramped. We did not realize the pools were plunge pools so we did not use them but we did enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar. Our breakfast was not included in the price but we paid for it and it was nice. It is only 20-25 min from the airport. We enjoyed the location and room so much that we returned for 1 night before flying out of Barcelona. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The hotel is lovely. Our room is facing the main road with spectacular views of the marina. Only negative was we were on the 5th floor and was it was a bit noisy from floor above. Hotel is centrally located. The roof top bar and pool are really nice as well. Pool was a bit cold. The bar is perfect to enjoy a beverage and take in the views. The breakfast is delicious with quite the variety. We were lucky to experience a wine tasting consisting of wines from Jean Leon winery - Andres was absolutely delightful. He explained the wines perfectly and all with a smile. We will be back to this gem.

We had great Margaritas, my style with a Tajin rim, on the rooftop bar, which was a highlight of the hotel. Andres was a terrific bartender. The front desk agents were equally lovely, including Karim and our other friend with the coolest eyewear and wonderful demeanor.|The rooms were comfortable and the location was great!
