The hotel also called Hotel Amano. This is the worst hotel that I'd ever experienced at Dusseldorf. The room is so dark, there is only two small head lights in the corridor and tiny little lamp at the bedside. You barely see anything even in the day time! Also, I was in the top floor and when you open the window, you can actually walk out and reach to other people's room. There are also some iron fences located outside the window, which looks like to avoid people jump from the floor. Looks weird.
One of the receptionists attitude is bad, especially an Asian short lady at the reception whose always act like "Don't bother me". She even hanged up calls from the room, and when I want to confirm the reception number. She told me that they are very busy with their stuff at the reception so cannot answer the phone. WHAT! So, it means she can hang up guest's call???
I also asked to have a room change to a brighter room, and she told me the hotel room is fully booked and this is the style of the hotel where everywhere looks dark. Which is not truth, because later that night, my colleague asked another receptionist to change the room because of the dark room, he got changed! I was so mad about it. So, I asked two standing lamps to the room and the room finally looks OK...
The hotel also don't have Kettle, can you imagine in such pricey room and as 4 star hotel with no Kettle!! I asked for one and it is so dirty! I have to wash it several times in order to use it.
Will not come back again to this hotel. Worst experience ever.
