Hotel Dusseldorf Mitte

Fantastic hotel and staff. The lady who was present at check in was a Fantastic boost after 12 hours of travel. Her friendly bubblely attitude was infectious. Arrived at 11am left my bag and went wondering for the day. Bar is very chilled and relaxing. Rooms are really impressive with a mini fridge. The deli at front was also fantastic, got a bread roll with filling at 1230am on way to room. I wasnt expecting much. However it was fresh and tasty. Absolutely delighted with my stay.

I've visited a lot of hotels in NRW and this is one of my favorites! Excellent location, surrounded by good restaurants. It's clean and the beds are better then one would expect in this price range. I never order breakfast, just a cappuccinno in the morning and the one they make at the recption/bar is actually pretty good!. Staff is friendly and they understand the needs of a business traveler. Special thanks to Andrea and Ulrike for booking me the right room and a morning laugh ;-)

The hotel is in the center of Düsseldorf, 5 minutes from a nice parking garage and the Main Railway Station. I liked the check-in and check-out system through the internet. You don't need a key; you can open doors with your mobile phone. However, I had a problem opening the room with my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. I had to restart it and turn Bluetooth off and on again. My girlfriend didn't have any problem with her iPhone. The rooms were cozy, but the heater was off when we arrived, and we had to turn it on to the maximum because the room was cold. Breakfast was also good, but I have to say that it wasn't perfect. But that could be because we were there 20 minutes before it ended. The hotel staff was very friendly.

I stay at this hotel regularly. It has a very convenient location — right in the city center, close to the train station, and there’s a market nearby with a great selection. The rooms come with either a bath or a shower, and I always choose one with a large bed. Comfortable and clean! Special thanks to the staff who work here — they’re friendly and welcoming! I’m happy to recommend this hotel and will definitely come back again :)

The hotel also called Hotel Amano. This is the worst hotel that I'd ever experienced at Dusseldorf. The room is so dark, there is only two small head lights in the corridor and tiny little lamp at the bedside. You barely see anything even in the day time! Also, I was in the top floor and when you open the window, you can actually walk out and reach to other people's room. There are also some iron fences located outside the window, which looks like to avoid people jump from the floor. Looks weird. One of the receptionists attitude is bad, especially an Asian short lady at the reception whose always act like "Don't bother me". She even hanged up calls from the room, and when I want to confirm the reception number. She told me that they are very busy with their stuff at the reception so cannot answer the phone. WHAT! So, it means she can hang up guest's call??? I also asked to have a room change to a brighter room, and she told me the hotel room is fully booked and this is the style of the hotel where everywhere looks dark. Which is not truth, because later that night, my colleague asked another receptionist to change the room because of the dark room, he got changed! I was so mad about it. So, I asked two standing lamps to the room and the room finally looks OK... The hotel also don't have Kettle, can you imagine in such pricey room and as 4 star hotel with no Kettle!! I asked for one and it is so dirty! I have to wash it several times in order to use it. Will not come back again to this hotel. Worst experience ever.

Located next to a busy road. Room was dusty and very small. Made a reservation for a superior double room with a bathtub. At arrival I was told the superior double is the standard room and no batthub in rooms is available. Afterwards we got called to our rooms twice, once in the middle of the night (at 3 am) and the other for our checkout (at 12 and we had a late checkout till 2pm). Overall bad experiece, quality and price. Receptionist didn't do anything even when we told our complaints.

Perfectly fine hotel. Rooms were very clean and the bathroom even had a bathtub. Service was very nice and helpful. The area around the hotel is a bit shady (at night).

It’s a simple hotel. It’s clean and the beds are comfortable. I would recommend if you want to stay in Düsseldorf for 2-3 days and spend the day outside exploring and just have a place to relax and sleep. The rooms are small.
