Hotel Dvořák

The hotel is not new, but for a one-night stay it's not that bad at all. I've seen better. The problem is with the parking lot within the hotel. I thought I got free parking but I had to pay 15 Euros. Upon returning home, the harassment starts, I can safely say. The owner reported me to Booking to ask for another 15 Euros, I don't know what for. I pay my bills but I don't like being made a fool of me. Be careful when booking parking at the Dvorak Hotel!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area and city. The style is grand old world deco style. Dog friendly. Mobility disabilities friendly.

I would give it 1 star, but underground parking in the middle of budejovice earns it 2 stars. other than that. we had 2 rooms, one 4 beds and one 2 beds. 4 beds, was prepared for 3 people instead of 4, 2 beds room was okay. 1. no air conditioning, the rooms are right under roof. if its 36°C outside, its 40 inside. 2. rooms were dirty, carpets cant be saved, they are really dirty. 3. rooms need an immediate refresh, they are in terrible state, and stuck back in 1998. 4. the shower/bath situation, its quite hard to shower without getting water everywhere as theres no shower curtain. next time we are searching for any other accomodation in budejovice, and this hotel is not 4 star hotel at any level! stay as far away from this place as you can.

Ultra central location, you can walk everywhere from here. Rooms are a bit old, it looks like not much was improved in the last 20 years at least, a bit of improvement needed, however bedsheets were clean. Wifi available in the room. Parking is also available for a fee underground, it is very tight so you need to be extra careful finding a spot. Hotel parking is 3 levels underground. Supermarket just outside the hotel is a big plus. Staff was very friendly.

This hotel disappointed me. I was expected something more from four stars hotel. Our room was large, but the furnishings looked like in the 1980s. Bathroom was very spacious. But there was nothing to put aside all the things one needed in the bathroom. Even the towel was nowhere to hang or lay by the sink. And the shower was dirty. Such the old, rusty dirt that settles for a long time (I took the pictures of this shower, so you can see it). There was no central air conditioning at the hotel. There was only a portable air conditioning in the room.||Location of the hotel was perfect, right on the Přemysl Otakar II. Square, wifi was fast, breakfasts very basic but good.

Place is absolutely terrible. Roms look dirtiy it happens that there is no warm water. Breakfast are also horrible sometimes you don't have options with bred. Don't recommend it

The hotel does fit ti four stars hotels - no sleepers nor bathrobe provided, no minibar and tea/coffee station. Hair dryer was in disorder, and was not repaired during the day after been reported to the reception. No any space inside hotel except small lobby with tables for breakfast. Mai, entrance from the square is closed in the evening together with shopping center, so you have to go around to enter from the backdoor , which also could be closed and not necessarily someone at the reception would be on place in that moment. Very poor breakfast - no any fruits, almost nothing for vegetarians, a single and not the best baked roll with poppy seeds - that's all for desert ... || Excellent location in the very center with short easy walk from the main railway station. Supermarket is just 20 meter aside of the reception, so you could compensate poor breakfast . Spacious room and large table.||Overall rate is 2.5 stars

Good location is near Chesky Heritage town. Hotel is too far in buses not able to come in. Staff are friendly. ||Too old furniture, unclean curtains & sheets. Noisy - can practically hear your neighbour's conversations. Bed too low and spring is real bad. Hot water in shower get chilled cold within 5-8 mins (maybe it's an indication to take shower within 5-8mins). Need alot of improvisation to attract tourists, long stay and revisiting guest and tour groups. It wasn't a extreme bad experience but all equipments, fixtures & amenities needs upgrade.
